A Proposal for certain Pats Fans

Don't forget that welker could be seiously hurt. if the pats suck this year then i'm through watching sports.

That's funny!! Me too!!:D

for real? my favorite baseball player rafel furcal is out for the season so i haven't been enjoying baseball!

Sorry, I was mis-using sarcasm again, my bad.

I propose that anyone posting any variation of "we suck," "we have no passion," "we look awful," "let's tear this team down and start building again," or "this team is pathetic" voluntarily remove themselves from posting if the Pats beat Kansas City by more than 14 pts in week 1, and don't return until the first Patriots loss. That is all.

I am in full support of this proposal. Furthermore, I'd like to suggest a mandatory wedgie for any violators. Not just a mild wedgie either. I'm talking about a sh!t stain inducing, fabric ripping, pull over the head type of wedgie.

That's my post for the month so enjoy.

);p

I completely support this idea. Plus your the man since you won the icicle climbing game (that thing is hard).

It is not a criticism, it is an observation.

The question is, is this a 14-2 team with home field advantage in the playoffs, or an 11-5/12-4 team that will have to win on the road in the playoffs?

This lack of emotion is something I'm not used to seeing from a BB team in the preseason. Because it is an unknown for me, I don't feel comfortable with it. That does not necessarily mean it is a bad thing- just something I don't recognize.

Wait, are you trying to say that posting what you see isn't wrong? That you can still think this will be a successful team but have concerns about some things you've seen? That makes no sense. It is all or nothing.

And what is this about HFA and the playoffs? You have expectations for this team other than beating possibly the worst team in football at Gillette in the season opener? That also makes no sense.

Next you are going to say that when you are concerned about weaknesses the Pats display on defense or in blocking that it is becasue you worry that the flaw might stop them from winning a Super Bowl - like it has the last 2 years. That clearly isn't true. What you really are saying is the team stinks.

You are no different from the people who want to blow it up. When you say you aren't used to seeing a BB team look like they have looked this year in the preseason it means you think this team is going 4-12.

and don't return until the first Patriots loss. That is all.

So you're saying you don't want to see them until next preseason?

Great idea. It's *almost* as bad as the "we only have to turn up to destroy the Giants in the Superbowl" crowd. A sense of proportion would be nice.

I got an idea...why doesn't anybody who posted that the SB was a lock stop posting until, the Pats actually win a game.
