I'm fine with the offense once Brady comes back. We may not looke great early if a couple of new OL's are in the lineup because Neal and perhaps Hochstein are not there; but they will be fine in a few weeks. Keeping Morris will allow us to have him and Faulk be available as returners.

SOME COMMENTS
1. Gutz could be replaced by a veteran.
2. Hochstein could be replaced by Flynn.
3. O'Callahan could go to IR, with or without a replacement.
4. We could keep only 2 TE's with two on the Practice Squad.

OFFENSE (25)
QB - 3 Brady, Gutierrez, O’Connell
RB - 4 Faulk, Maroney, Morris, Jordan
FB - 1 Evans
C - 2 Koppen, Hochstein
G - 3 Mankins, Yates, Welbourn
OT - 4 Light, O'Callaghan, Kaczur, Britt
WR - 5 Moss, Gaffney, Welker, Washington, Jackson
TE - 3 Watson, Thomas, Spach

Sounds about right to me. I am so looking forward to the real season. I have already set up my Patriots Shrine and have the wide-screen and sound system tweaked. New couch and coffee table. Getting a few more wall decorations this next weekend. All I have left is to develop the sandwich and snack menu and restock the bar for opening night. :)

Oh, and find a way to get rid of She-Who-Must-Be-Obeyed for several hours so's I can enjoy the game in peace.

I'd make one adjustment:

I think Slater brings more value to the team (3 positions) and I would expect to see him listed at WR.

I can certainly understand wanting Slater instead of a mediocre blocking TE. However, I think Belichick greatly values TE's and strongly prefers having three on the 53.

I might have put Slater on the squad if he were even our 7th best WR. Ventrone and Jones are much better.

True, Ventrone looks good. Man, I'm SO glad this is up to Bill and co. hehe

Given Thomas's injury history I don't see them depending on him to stay healthy all season. I'd expect there to be three TEs.
