To here from Reiss that Brady, Light, Waarren, A Thomas and Welker all looked great in practice.

to hear what?

was this last year?

it's only practice until it gets transitioned into games. so time will tell

The point is that I what I wwant to see most is the following players are healthy. That means much more to be than whether our potentially 2nd string QB does well against #2 defenses.

I think they are all ok, the only question is Welker.

Welker may no longer be fully healthy - Did you miss the rib injury report?

I agree...THAT is the nost important thing...Thomas has a wrist injury so he will play..but maybe be less effective until it is healed..taking no chances in these games.
What is up with Warren?? Any injury was not mentioned at all. Light is a question mark..but hopefully back soon. Vrady will be ready to go against teh Chiefs and Welker??
He will be out next week..but hopefully OK for the opener.

it's just funny that many use to make fun of LT for sitting out the preseason and look how slow they started last year. let's just hope the Pats are fast starters like last year.

I understand that Welker has a rib injury. News on his recovery schedule is much more important than which CJ is cut.

i fail to see the humor?

I don't think there is anything wrong with Warren. Wright did need some reps though after missing lots of time in camp and both previous preseason games.

Warren sits
Though he has not missed any practice time in the last couple of weeks, defensive lineman Ty Warren did not start last night’s game. Mike Wright started in his place.

I would rather start slow and finish fast. This is not a typical year, last season was long and taxing on many levels both physical and mental for these players and coaches. Between the 16-0 reg season, the "Spygate" garbage and then the Super letdown it might be a slow start or maybe the Pats are using this preseason to heal up physically and mentally after last year's long run so they can hit the ground running in Week 1.
