Interesting to hear.

i agree with his view of the defense. interesting to hear how the players are taking these performances.

That is INTERESTING. Either they are giving the rest of this league a false sense of security or they are are getting this attitude from BB. I will go with the latter. They do still have more time, but not much. What they need to do right now is get HEALTHY. We will not win many games with that Offensive line. As I said in the game thread, I don't care about wins and losses in the preseason. But I expect them to EXECUTE. I am not seeing that. The lack of EXECUTION across the board CONCERNS me the most.

Edit: Oh wait, our place kicker looks good.

I would agree that we do lack execution..i personally dont care if we get blown away next week by the Giants....i just want to see well executed plays and some confidence in the QB on the field.....

That's funny that Reiss didn't mention the OL.

I disagree with him in that he made it sounded like the Pats starting defense was almost at full strength. He didn't discount the fact that Thomas, Warren, and Meriweather weren't in the game. It is unknown if Meriweather is going to be an impact player this year, but we know both Warren and Thomas are going to be.

Interesting that he believes Gutz showed possible #2 ability even though he was playing against dishwashers, vagrants and amputees in the second half.

I realize he's only been the beat writer or other for both major newspapers meaning, of course, he's not a football expert like Patsfans posters.

On the D, new people, folks. They need one of those construction signs. The secondary has Merriweather moving in and a slew of new cornerbacks. We could have kept the linebackers until they were 50, but we're trying new guys.

Work in progress, there will be mixups through the season. Make the playoffs and gel then. The Seau, Bruschi comfort zone had to end. Whether they waited a few years too long is irrelevant, it's going to school during games time now.

What more needs to be said. We all saw it with or own eyes. THEY SUCK.

The playing time all these backups and newbs got will pay off later.

Is Reiss from Canada? He has a weird accent.

Light appears to be almost ready. The playing time all these backups and newbs got will pay off later.
Where did you hear that? I hope its true. If so it's really good news.

People from Canada think you have a weird accent :)

Yes, we do. Joizey, was it? ;)

Completely OT, I think the Bahstahn accent is awesome. I visit the East Coast for the accent just like I go to the zoo to see Lions. owusahm.

Reiss sounds American to me.

My bad, I read it on this board. Disregard that, it's second party hearsay.

I don't even remember who posted, but it's new and has to do with him being in the locker room. Breach of credibility on my part.

I edited it out.

With regard to your first sentence, did Cassell show #2 ability

playing against first stringers? If the answer is no, then the time

has come to give someone else a shot at #2 quarterback.

To be fair, I don't think you can make a direct comparison. My untutored opinion? He doesn't look like he has confidence. Just thought it was curious Reiss brought it up and I do respect his opinion, he hardly shoots his mouth off.
