I haven't watched a single preseason game. I haven't even seen highlights or stats. I just don't care. And then I come on here and it seems like every day there's another 3 page thread saying how pathetic we look or why we should be concerned. Please tell me I'm not the only one who doesn't care about what we're doing right now.

Sept. 7 against KC... that's all I'm worried about.

You aren't the only one but there aren't many of us. That said, I am worried about when Light makes it back.

Thats it buddy....thats the bottom line.....Sept. 7th....16 days to go!!

Cannot wait for it to begin....

You're one out of maybe 30.

They said on WBCN that Light is really itching to get back. He was in the lockerroom the other day when the media was there which is usually a sign he is close to coming back and practicing. My guess he starts practicing early next week.

Awesome news, thanks. He's been around so long he'll only need about a week of contact to be ready.

Am I worried about the season being in jeopardy based on preseason games? - Absolutely not

Have I seen anything, just the slightest thing from the STARTERS to say I am confident the team will be the best in the league again? - NO, I have seen little positive so far to be 100% sure of it.

Right in the middle is where in reality, everyone should be so far because we have seen NOTHING compared to what we will see in September, - Does that mean the team will be 100% better? - Who knows? except the big man upstairs

I watch pre-season to get early looks at rookies and newcomers that I have hopes for. I don't know what the hell has gotten into all the chiken littles.

Well, I wouldn't say I completely don't give a **** as I flip back and forth between them and the Red Sox when both are on and on days the Red Sox aren't on, I watch the entire game (Baltimore game was an off day for the Sox, I believe). So I care about it a bit and would like to see some better play.

But there are a lot of reactionary, over the top posters here recently and I clearly don't care about the pre-season as much as they do, nor am I worried about the team based on this pre-season.

I'm in the middle of the "I don't give a **** until September 7th" crowd and the "OMG! THE PATS SUCK, BLOW IT UP" crowd; but certainly far closer to the former.

All I've followed is the backup QB spot. The rest I just don't gve a **** about, sorry chicken littles.

i am not worried at all, nobody should be. the people that are freaking out now are some of the sames ones who said brady over over the hill in 2006

you should be concerned about preseason games because it will tell you how well our new players perform. When our team has a lot of injuries at OL, it's good to know that our new guys can be dependable.

Time is running out for us. If they don't step up and our injured players don't get better, we are in a big trouble.

Lets see how they do against KC and revisit the discussion.

players get better as the season goes on just because someone has a bad day in august does not mean they cant help this team during the season, some of these players will not even be on the team come sept 7 anyways

Not concerned here, as long as Brady is out. In fact, I think its a good thing for the team. Allows Cassel to be exposed so Pats can establish Matt G. as firm #2.

I wasn't even aware there was a game yesterday until I checked the board this morning. I can't imagine a more boring, meaningless time than the preseason. Yeah, it really handcuffed the Colts, going 0-4 in 2006.

Count me in as another person don't give a damn. I view NFL preseason the same way I view MLB spring training: It doesn't mean squat and in both cases, rarely a good indicator of how the real season's going to play out.

I'm not worried about the games, I'm more worried about the injuries. Injuries to (at least) 40% of our starting oline, rib injury for welker now, merriweather, obviously Brady's uncertainty. I couldnt care whether cassel takes a snap turns around and throws it backwards. I'm sure BB will handle the situation when the situation needs to be handled. However, BB cannot control injuries, and that's what worries me.

Will we also be able to revisit the "Blow it up" discussion you started?
