i'm getting a feeling that brady has a "to cool for school" attitude this year. why wasn't this guy at least standing on the sideline?

What a stupid point to make.

Have you spoken to him?

Have you been following him?

I have every faith in Tom Brady. Regardless of anything, he has earned the benefit of the doubt and then some.

Wait until push comes to shove before you criticize him. It doesn't seem long ago that we were concerned about Tom's "body language".

brady is wearing my patience down with all his evasive comments about his foot. just come out and say it already! ughhh..... at least i have my abs.

Have I ever followed him? One time back in 2005. This year? No i have not followed him yet.

Somewhere, a village is missing an idiot.

How about you go and find that village, Raffy15.

maybe later, i'm tired right now. how can we not be concerned about brady? no off season workouts? hanging out with a 1 year old kid all summer? how is that conducive to football success? this is hard for me to say because brady is my favorite player (yes, even more than barry sanders).

Am I missing something? Wasn't Brady forthcoming about his foot on WEEI on Monday? Didn't say more about his injury than the Pats usually say any injury? Didn't Brady practice Wednesday?

brady said he was going to play before the tampa game bro. didn't you see the clip before the game tonight? brady said "yeah..... i'm playing" in a dead serious manner! this means that brady is a fibber or was hurt in between that comment and the game.

It would have been a decision by the coaching staff. A responsible one at that.

Tom, like most other competitive quarterbacks, would play every game possible. That kind of spirit has let himself, Manning and Favre play so many consecutive games.

Brady would have gained very little from playing tonight and one has to look at risk v reward with the way the OL played...

so tell me why he wasn't on the sidelines tonight! the game is at home!

Well hell then we better pay attention to his body language this year.

How do you know he wasn't on the sidelines?

If he wasn't he'd be watching it from high above. A different perspective of the game can sometimes be very beneficial. Also in this position, he is better equipped to give Cassell and Guit advice, rather than looking at it side on.

Brady hurt reportedly hurt his foot on Thursday or Friday and he made comments about playing in the Tampa game on Wednesday.

From Thursday's Globe:

"It will be nice to be out there and play a little bit, and see if we can make improvements from last week," Brady said yesterday after the team's 22d practice of training camp.

This is the last time he spoke to the media. Are you desperately trying to create a controversy that isn't there?
