This team is too fat and Happy..3 superbowl titles and now everyone is playing for a contract instead on their next meal..Remember the 2001 Pats defense it was balls to the wall with something to prove..Those day's are done..Get younger get hungrier and maybe the passion to be the best will return..Just my thoughts it hurts too see this team pl;ay with no passion at all.

Yeah, you'd have thought tonite's game didn't count or something. Unbelievable.

Wait, are you being for real or sarcastic, b/c I'm having trouble discerning btwn the two at this point.

now you're just acting foolish.

I think the one legit thing is the lack of production from Matt Cassel over the 3 game stretch. I could care less about points. He is having major trouble moving the chains. Does anyone know how many total first downs he has gotten in these three games?

The defense is a work in progress and though it looks bad, we should not worry about it until they are getting gouged in the regular season. Tonight they were missing AD and Ty Warren.

We have yet to see the entire starting unit in there together at once.

I think the team will be fine when Brady gets back.

The one major disappointment has been Cassel. he has an opportunity here and hasn't taken advantage of it.

Blow up a team that is 23-2 in it's last 25 games, with both losses coming to the eventual Super Bowl champion?

I saw no passion in the 18 wins last year, the comebacks against the Colts, Ravens and Giants in Week 17 were merely luck.

Are we really going to have another week of these stupid threads?

If we beat the Chiefs 45-0 in the first week are these same people going to talk back to back undefeated seasons?

As mentioned in the post above, we've lost 2 games out of our last 25. Both to the eventual Super Bowl champion and by a total of margin of 7 points.

I don't think it's fair to associate people who can see us winning another 16 straight with people who feel the entire team needs to be blown up.

hahaha wow

Blow this topic creator up.

I am just saying they are reactionary. Today people are saying that the team needs to be blown up, too old, lost their passion, etc. They are predicting doom and gloom. I am thinking some of these people will do a complete 180 with one win in the regular season and predict a historic season.

That is different people who right now think the Pats are still are one of or are the best team in the NFL.

What does LAST YEARS play mean right now?,Why do some of you goofballs hold onto something that is in the PAST

What does 23-2 mean right now? - Does that mean the team will go to 45-2 or 90-2? - Stop being Morons - Its means C-R-A-P - 2007 is over and its a NEW year - god,are you all like 14 years old hanging onto 2007?.

Overall its a NEW year and with some NEW teammates and an overall different schemes planned for this year - and Brady can't play defense so I don't know what is going to be with that secondary which in preseason looks like cottage cheese, many areas look O.K.,Some I have worries over since we have not seen much yet and to be worried is nothing wrong with that, even if its bad play from preseason games,BB is an excellent coach but who knows what this team will actually look like IN 2 WEEKS-ITS NOT LAST YEAR.

This team could end up being a very hard team to beat and it could be a team that can score but have trouble keeping opponents out of the end zone as well - None of us knows sh#t about this team right now in terms of how good they will really be so lets not make believe we know anything other than using your little keyboard in front of you hoping you are right

Hell, Dallas had one hell of a record during several years in the mid 90s but eventually came back down to earth,While I am not saying this team is doomed by preseason games it certainly has had little to make us feel confident it will all be O.K. - You will have negativity in some people who are not happy with what they see, meaningless games or not - live with it

We need a game like old times soon to keep us back on track for hopefully a good season up ahead,I will officially begin to doubt the team if it gets steamrolled by KC in 2 weeks - For now I am just hoping for the best to come and hopefully come to terms that the preseason is just a bad and worthless dream.

Blow up the Matt Cassell experiment. it's ranking up there with klecko and monty beisel.

after how much failure(or lack of success) do you move on?

look how stubborn chicago has been with a qb. luckily cassel is not our starter.

cassell will probably be a good coach with all his experience. he's just not meant to be our backup.

do you want him in there if brady goes down and the real pressure is on of a real game?

let's say cassel plays next week. if he puts up another effort like this with similar production is that good enough to win the backup qb job?
