Will people still be doom and gloom thinking the defense can't stop the run?

Or will one game totally change the minds of thr chicken littles?

Will a good performance erase all the doubts of games 1 and 2?

Um, we'd be happy. No, sad. No, happy.

Won't care. Pre-season is pre-season. I'd like to see them do well, but I can wait until the season starts.

P.S. This sounds like a poll question!

Win or Lose i would like to see the O and D work as a "UNIT" this week...We lacked that last week and it showed. Regardless of who was in the game; we need to communicate better.

Well I hope the team does well so we have something more positive to talk about......but without gameplans etc its still individual battles out there. I think we will all be looking at the OL play(and who is where) and to see some stops, to make plays and get off the field on 3rd down. 17 play drives arent very good preseason or no....and you cant tell me that big Vince was impressed with the run D last week. I wont look at stats, and I wont listen to talking heads, but I want the players to feel good about the effort.

I don't care if they win. The game means nothing.

It would be good to see some improvement in certain areas but personally I don't care if they lose all 4 preseason games. I don't even care if they appear to *, as long as the suckage means they're working on something or evaluating someone. I'd rather see the holes and problem areas now when there's time to fix them, rather than later.

But yes, if the Pats show a little something tomorrow night I think it would shut a few people up, that's for sure. A great play or 2 would be fun to watch too, not to mention handing the masses a little reminder ;)

I'm ok with letting the preseason be an opportunity for study rather than an opportunity to strut and win.

The same way I'll feel if they play much worse: It's the preseason, it's for evaluating players and practicing situational football, not winning games.

that's why i didn't put "win" in the thread title. I think it comes down to execution of each play and if they do that then they will have played better than the eagles.

they need to get some timing on offense and cohesion on offense and defense.

This is absolutely the tell all game, no doubt about it. If the patriots come out and win, they undoubtedly will go 16-0 again. If they come out and lose, they will go 0-16. This is it, do or die. You got what it takes Patriots? Do ya?

When it is all said and done it come down to one word HEALTH.

That is all that matters to me on Friday night.

If this team remains healthy they are in the Super Bowl....period.

Ok regardless of what happens Fri. nothing is guranteed and to be predicting a SB is just crazy..Im optimistic to but your not sure what will happen in the real season.

Your telling me a fully ...completely healthy Patriots team will not make it to the Super Bowl? I say that is virtually impossiable.......but then again I am a bit optimistic.

Nothing is for sure in the NFL....I mean one bad block and we could be drafting in the top 20...Plus most of the top AFC teams improve greatly this off-season...I think we didnt improve but we sure didnt lose a whole lot. I would gurantee atleast a Conference Championship.

I guess I can live with that gurantee.

If the Pats win 55-0 or lose 0-55, I will feel the same. Belichick already said since this is a short week he isn't even approaching this game as if it was a typical 3rd preseason game. So I expect the Pats to rest a lot of starters and get killed. And I don't care.

All I want is a win. I don't care how they look or who gets hurt along the way.

they've already rested.

All warm and fuzzy inside ready to sing "Koom-bya" with all my Pats Fans brethren!:D Seriously, it won't mean a thing until week 1.
