Who are the most unfairly criticized players on the Pats?

About 900,000 folks here (it feels like): "Agodinagreyhoodie" "molewisrocks" etc. would say Cassel.

I still say he's gone by the end of PS... but it BB keeps him, it's good enough for me.

I think that Watson is overrated... that being said, I don't think that he's a bust at all. He has worked on (or at least mostly stopped) tipping balls up into the air for anyone else to grab, but his blocking is still suspect IMHO.

I like Hobbs as a #2 back and I love Faulk.... so I would include them... I think that they take a lot of garbage that they don't deserve. Faulk less so now, obviously.

My only other (that I can think of) would be Thomas... the man works hard, has had some bad luck injuries, but still shows flashes of brillance when healthy. Too many folks calling for him to be gone... just my 2 pennies, though.

Re: Who are the most unfairly criticized players?

Chad Jackson. If he wasn't hurt for the last 2 years, it would be him with the TD catches record and not Randy Moss.

CJ has a 30 TD season in him...no doubt!

I have to say Matt Light.

The guy has been a staple for us at Left Tackle protecting Brady's Blind side pretty much the whole time. Really the main reason people criticized him was that he stuggled vs Jason Taylor one of the best pass rushers in the league and he was doing better vs him the last few years. IMO Light deserves a lot more credit from us for being a great LT.

not too cool to joke about that

I'm not joking...That's really why you shouldn't do a horrible drug like crack.

If I was joking, I'd have put a smiley like this: :D :singing:  next to it.

Before even opening the thread... I chose:

Matt Light and
Ellis Hobbs

Lonie Paxton.

maroney for sure was but now people have wised up on that one.
