WHAT???HUH??? Where am I?????.......

oh, sorry....another Bledsoe nightmare........

I wonder if Drew is on the Belichick's short list of vet retreads.

More like right to the defensive lineman, on a screen play no less. Brady is going to be fine, no more Bledsoe talk.

Bledsoe
Put a couple of bolts in his neck and you have Herman Munster!

Why all the Bledsoe bashing?

Drew is and always will be one of my favorite Patriots of all time. He is a part of the triumbrate that saved this franchise he took us to our second SB and helped get us to our 3rd.

I would love if he were on a short list of guys to be a vet back up but someting tells me he would not return here if he were to unretire which I think he is happy to stay.

My thoughts exactly. It always amazes how quick people are to trash the second best QB the Pats ever had. He will always be one of my favorite Pats. I have more #11 jerseys than any other. I wish these nay sayers would stick to Chad Jackson - Laurence Maroney - Ellis Hobbs and Matt Cassel or anyone else who might become the flavor of the day.

Jeeesshhhh!!!!!!!!!!!

Wasn't that in Pittsburgh, I think it was 97 or 98.
Passed it right to a linebacker who took it in for an easy TD.
I think it was Vrabel, too.:p
Could have improved their seeding that game.
Lost to Pitt that year in the play offs....3-0 in Pittsburgh.
No. Drew can stay home. Rather coach up the kids.

I hope Drew signs a one day deal and retires a Patriot. Drew was good, Brady is just better. No harm in that.

Perhaps those who want to bash Drew were happy with Hugh Millen.

You know I wonder if 20 years from now if another great QB is leading the Patriots to several SB wins will we hear the same crap about Brady that we hear about Bledsoe like 'Well Brady was O.K. back in those times but this guy is better'

Thing for the drewpiehiles to remember is it only got worse after he left here. Basically he proved the point. And to such an extent he got kicked to the curb at halftime in a prime time game by the guy who drafted him...

Bledsoe sigiificantly improved both teams he went to after he left New England. People with an axe to grind on Bledsoe like to ignore that. The player who replaced him in Dallas is considered among the best in the NFL. Again, that's something that the anti-Bledsoe people ignore. Buffalo has had 2 non-losing seasons since 2000, both with Bledsoe at the helm. The anti-Bledsoe people ignore that, too.

Uh, no. Because Drew never lead us to any Superbowl wins. Brady will have Joe Montana status here, and Drew will have the status he deserves here, that of George Shaw, part 2.

Also many people forget that he came back here the following year nad bea us.......we would finish that season 9-7 one win shy of the playoffs. Drew did not leave here and just suck for 5 years he left here made the teams he joined better but was eventually due to his age replaced by younger options that the team felt they needed to put in.

you have your Bledsoe screwups vs pittsburgh confused. Both were in 1998. the regular season was late in the year vs pitts at foxboro. He threw a screen pass to Kevin Henry a Pitt D lineman that was returned for a TD late in the game when the Pats had the game on lock down. Pitt came back to in in the final minutes. As a result of that loss we had to play at Pitts in the post season and Vrabel sacked Bledsoe from behind and he fumbled on the final drive. That was really more the LTs fault because h just whiffed on Vrabel.

From your lips to God's ears.

Man wouldn't it be amazing to have QB that eclipse Brady. I doubt it would happen, but one can dream.

I'm on board with that .These kiddies here that bash Drew haven't a clue what it was like before he came along. Anyone need a Marc Wilson jersey?

Easy to forget that the Buffalo Bills team that Bledsoe joined was 3-13 the year before. With Bledsoe, they went to 8-8. Again, in 04, the Cowboys were 6-10. In 2005, with Bledsoe, 9-7.

Nobody's not putting Bledsoe's name on the all-time greats list, but those negative remarks about him shows how much we've been spoiled with Brady...and that we have a few bandwagon fans that have jumped aboard during the Super Bowl years only.

Remember 1994 when Bledsoe was throwing to those hall of famers Vincent Brisby, Michael Timpson and Ray Crittenden and handing off to Marion Butts ? Well, we still made the playoffs !

The truth with Bledsoe is somewhere in between. He isn't as bad as the bashers made him out to be, but he wasn't as good as the lovers would have you think.

The truth is the reason Bledsoe was so frustrating for rationale fans like me, is that while he was naturally physically "good enough" he never put in the extra work to make himself great. While Brady was winning offseason workout awards, Bledsoe was in Montana fishing.
