I think I got dumber just listening to him.
Marshall Faulk isnt much better...
I don't know. I thought Sharpe was brilliant compared to Marshall Faulk. Granted that is setting the bar so low it barely gets off the ground.
My biggest complaint is that he blew out the speakers on my television. Why does this guy feel like he needs to yell all the time even when he is having a regular conversation?
"Is this the Patriots ?" - Shannon Sharpe while the third string is getting run over.
The NFL Network is a great channel. But, they need to be careful not to ruin the potential of the network by bringing in former players with an agenda. The network needs open-minded, unbiased opinions.
If not, the NFL Network could go the way of ESPN. Fox's pregame is the best to watch, and CBS is okay, save for the thoroughbred himself, Shannon Shapre.

He was in game mode, calling audibles over the crowd noise......
"President, call in the National Guard! Send as many men as you can spare! Because Tampa is killing the Patriots! They need emergency help!"
You do know that that was Shannon Sharpe who said that when Denver pummeled the Pats,Not blood brother jackass Sterling
Now if you really want to hear an announcer with the most unbiased approach to the game and especially regarding the Pats, look no further than Mark Schlereth,as unbiased as they come :banned:
When Shannon did that I was truly hoping a thunderstorm came quickly into the foxboro area during that game and time and electrocuted that a>shole right there while he was having fun on the sideline phone.A good line never dies. Whats your point?
