I apologize in advance if this has been covered, I thought it was funny.

It's a good thing they have Favre or there would be no other reason to go.

NEWARK, N.J. (AP) -- The Meadowlands Sports Complex has issued new rules regarding alcohol and fan behavior.

Tailgate parties can only start five hours before New York Giants and Jets games instead of seven. Also, season ticketholders who are ejected from the stadium or arena will have their tickets revoked.

Last season, security at Gate D was increased at Jets games because hundreds of men would gather at halftime and demand that women expose their breasts. View-blocking banners will be hung on the spiral staircase to help eliminate the problem.
Unchanged is the halftime cutoff for alcohol sales.

The moves were announced Tuesday by the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority.

Only 5 hours? You would think they would allow more....:p

Oh, so they'll be hanging duplicates of all their recent playoff banners, like the one from Super Bowl III? :D

Couldn't they just ask the ladies to "keep in the holsters"?

Sports. Booze. Boobies. By the third quarter, the Jets now offer no reason to go at all. :D

That's what I was thinking.

Instead of the response being, stop doing that. They are going to open an XXX-rated section behind the banners.

So if a season ticket holder gives his tickets to another fan, and that fan is ejected, the season ticket holder doesn't lose his tickets. Good way to protect all the corporations that own season tickets. ;)

I think Goodell may have met his match if he thinks he's going to stop male Jets fans from being perverts and female Jets fans from acting slutty.

Only 5 hours? So Jets fans have to wait until 8AM to start drinking on afternoon games? That's crazy!

I'd almost steal that for my sig

You have a link for this?

Why bother with the first two quarters for that matter? Well except that Lord Favrequad guy.... which would be very entertaining to see how he would cope with going against the Pats D all by himself while the rest of his new teammates are busy waiting for the tits show to begin.

On opening day last year, some people started at 7 am...........then again they knew they were going to get thumped by the Pats.

They have a more common sense policy than the Patriots:

Meanwhile, season ticket-holders were told they face revocation of their tickets if ejected from the stadium or arena.

If the season tickets are being used by someone other than the owner, the owner will be sent two warnings. A third incident will result in revocation, said Dennis Robinson, authority president and CEO.
