Not that this means anything but history shows Brett has played decent against New England in the 5 times he has played against them - Of course this is another team and he is 38 years old now but here goes anyways for entertainment purposes...

Game 1 vs New England LOSS 16-17 25-47 for 294 Yards 1 Td 2 ints
Game 2 vs New England WIN 28-10 23-34 for 239 Yards 3 Tds 0 ints
Game 3 vs. New England WIN 28-10 17-27 for 147 Yards 3 Tds 0 ints
Game 4 vs. New England WIN 35-21 14-27 for 246 Yards 3 Tds 0 ints
(game 4 was the 96/97 Super Bowl )
Game 5 Vs. New England LOSS 0-35 5-15 for 73 Yards 0 Tds 0 ints
(injured early in game 5)

BRETT'S TOTALS vs.THE PATRIOTS
3 Wins - 2 Losses
84 Completions in 150 Attempts for 999 Yards in passing
10 Touchdowns - 2 Interceptions (solid considering his int history)

Averaging that out its approximately 17 of 30 for 200 yards with 2 TDS and 0.2 ints per game vs. the Patriots

Once again this info is just for amusement and means little but he has not thrown a pick against the Patriots since the early 90s - Hopefully that changes and early in week 2 :)

OK, now we are officially obsessed more than the Jets fans.

Only stats that matter: Favre v. Brady + Bellichick.

I already established that when we had 20+ Brett Favre threads before his trade to the Jets.

how many of those were against TB and BB?

times have changed, he's older, and i don't think mangini's playing style will suit favra gun slinger

I think it'll backfire, they'll have a ****ty year

I don't know. I could see 9-7 or 10-6. Their schedule is pretty easy as well and they did add a bunch of parts in the offseason. That being said, I don't think they have enough to prevent being swept by the Pats.
