I kind of had my eye on Leodis McKelvin and DRC. I think they may very well be genuine elite CB's (have to look at them along with AS in five years.

Who will you be watching between your fingers this year, hoping they're awesome (just not vs. NE, LOL)?

Chris Long. Dude's got talent and he's a beast. And I like Howie Long as well so it's easy to root for his son.

Ok, the petty bitter Pats fan in me is hoping to watch Vernon Gholston struggle in Jetsland. Is that wrong?

I am excited to hopefully see it happen though. Early word is at least initially I will be satisfied.

Haha.

Struggle? I don't know about that, but I have a feeling Mayo, and MAYBE by Mid-Season Crable, will be out-performing him.

Chris Long, Chris Johnson (running back), Mario Manningham

I'm looking forward to watch McFadden suck.

I think there's a highly unlikely chance of that happening, Scottie.

I don't, Bro. I just don't think he's that good, way over-rated. Infact I think he's the most over rated person in the draft.

I could be wrong, but I don't think so.

You may have to wait for the regular season for that. He is going to plow through those 3rd stringers

I am looking forward to seeing Craig Stevens (titans). He is one player I really wanted to draft. Also, Joe Flacco verses the Pats 2nd stringers.

As a BC fan, I am eager to see how Matt Ryan does as a rookie. I believe he will thrive in the dome, but as a rookie he will have his ups and downs.

Dude, That O-Line is so bad that whoever is the QB is going to get killed. I hope that Ryan does not start - It's just not fair.

I used to believe he was overrated as well. That was until I saw what he did to LSU's number 1 nationally ranked defense all by himself. He was the only reason Arkansas won that game. I know that doesn't mean much in the NFL but that LSU defense was N-A-S-T-Y last year.

In my perfect world, Gholston stinks up the joint for the entire year . . . and then inexplicably retires. ;)

I'm pretty biased, but I'm excited to see how Matt Forte does in Chicago. I'm really not fond of the Bears, but I think Forte's going to be a good one.

I'll be interested in watching the progress of the top picks after all the debate of who should go when - Jake Long, Chris Long, Glen Dorsey, etc. Also be interested in seeing how the players taken just before the Pats pick, and just after Mayo was taken are doing - Gholston, Sedrick Ellis, Derrick Harvey, Ryan Clady, etc. I'll also check out the top CBs that were available with that 1st pick, that some 'experts' thought the Pats might take - Leotis McKelvin, Domanique Rodgers-Cromartie, and Mike Jenkins. The last thing I may check on is some of the players that would have been available had the Pats not lost their 1st round pick - Phillip Merling, Brandon Flowers, Curtis Lofton, Tracy Porter, etc.

Chris Johnson is probably the best not so obvious answer so far.

I am certainly interested in seeing McFadden and Chris Long.

Mendenhall.

Gohlston.

Dont necessarily want them to succeed but expect them too and am interested to see what they can bring.

It will be interesting to see just how good Jake Long will be. Personally I think he will be outstanding and about the only positive in the Phins season.

I'm watching Jordy Nelson in GB. The guy's motor is always running and if you go to youtube, there is a clip where he schooled Talib in their meeting this past year. His success this year will probably depend on who is QB Favre or Rodgers.......

His agents already set an NFL record for the sixth pick. So at this point, the only guy struggling would be Mangini. That is one front office run amok.
