Pats/Raiders Dec. 14 - tix on sale today 8/1

In hopes of having as many Pats fans attend the December 14 game in Oakland, I'm wondering if any of you have the ticketmaster password for Raiders season ticket holders that can buy single game seats today. I have a password for the general presale on 8/5, but I don't want to get stuck sitting atop Mt. Davis.

Any help from the ticketmaster presale gurus is appreciated.

A quick google search gives you the password for the 8/5 pre-sale and considering that it's the Raiders, try "tuck" .......

You'll be safe at The Oakland Coleseum until about 90 minutes before the game since that's when the majority of the crowd gets their daily pass from San Quentin..:singing:

A friend who tailgates with us went to the 2002 game in Oakland. He is a police officer and had to show the security his badge so they could keep an eye on him becuase he felt the threats were getting to the point where something bad was going to happen. I also work with someone who grew up in California and is huge Raider fan. He advised me against going to this game (I am flying to SD game instead). He said be on your guard when you go to the bathroom. It is like prison in there in that there is no one to help you. This is where he has seen the most trouble for the visiting fans.

Good advice. I had a few problems visiting the mens room in San Diego in 2002 even though I kept my wise ***** mouth shut for once. Once I got out I mouthed off and had a few SD fans chasing after me. Since they'd won they probably didn't want to spoil the good mood by geting arrested.

I also went to the 2002 game and it wasn't bad. Remember, this was one fired up crowd since the Snow Game was the previous January. The key was letting the fans mouth off about fumbles and other nonsense and just watch the game. Cheering for the Pats (what little could be done that day) didn't cause any issues, but if you turned to the fans around you and started taunting them, then you were a target. Lots of Pats fans got mouthy with those around them and made it tough for themselves.

If you play it cool, the drunk Raiders fans around you are usually really great. They know there are a ton of New England transplants in the area (the A's/Red Sox games are more than enough proof) and respect those fans for staying true to their team(s). You usually end up hearing something like "You know, I hate your f***ing team, but you're a good guy...hic" from a few fans

I lived in Northern California (near san Francisco) for 7 years (1999-2006), and even though it's a beautiful place, and even parts of Oakland are nice (not all), going to the Colisseum as a rival fan of the Raiders is not good for your health. I actually saw a video on the news, of a rival fan being stabbed at the game. The video was pretty close up too, and it looked like one fan punching another in the stomach, but the Raider fan actually had a knife in his balled up fist. Just a crazy place, and a majority of Raider fans are lowlifes looking for trouble. I guess the guideline is safety in numbers, if a bunch of Pat's fans are together, it'll be safer, but don't turn your backs, don't be alone, and don't cheer too loudly. Just some advice.

Yep if you are wearing Pats colors and you "gots to go" do it a few minutes before halftime.
I was in there (no pats colors on me) and it was the usual half time scenario with just long lines crowded restrooms in the Coliseum. I saw this guy come in there with his pats gear, sweater, cap ,the works. Well all of a sudden I heard the guy next to me yell at him "f*ck the Pats", banging his hand on the nearby stall door. Then a couple others started chiming in, then everyone in the restroom starting banging things and screaming it out in on cue. The guy was scared man, he didn't even wait to piss, he turned around and left and as he was leaving they all started yelling in his face.

Not sure if this is standard procedure for fans of away teams in other stadiums but the times I have gone, I've always bring a backpack, put on my pats gear when i get to my seat, then take if off just before I head back out. I've seen to many away fans getting hit by stuff being thrown at them as they make their long walk to and from their seat.
