Would you want Terry Glenn to end his career where he started here in NE?

I never get into the 'This guy was cut should we look at him' stuff but Terry Glenn is an interesting one because he started his career off here and did not see eye to eye with Parcells ending his stay in NE and now cut by Dallas.

Would you want to take a chance on an often injured Glenn for a season hoping he produces enough to add a little more depth as maybe a #4 or #5 receiver? or is he done?.

By the way, the team most interested in Glenn's services is ....Well its Miami and Bill Parcells - Wouldn't you know it,SHE might end up back playing for the Tuna .

I still felt like TG still had something left in the tank. I always liked him.

Belichick would definitely end his career if he could.

Aren't injuries the major issue???

I think you have gotten your history confused.

Parcells was long gone. Terry Glenn did not see eye to eye with BB which got him suspended and ended his stay in New England.

He would not be welcome back.

I would certainly welcome him back, but I suspect I would be one of only a few.

Even though I know I should hate the guy, for some reason I can't help but like him. I've followed wherever he goes and inevitably always ends up on my fantasy teams with a late round pick. I really like his style of play; quick, fluid routes, sharp cuts with big play ability.

yes, i always liked Terry Glenn and i think he could still contribute

Who's spot is he going to take, and is Terry going to play on special teams.

I don't...

Terry Glenn is not worth the trouble. I realize that anytime ANY kind of "big name" is cut, Patriots fans here are set on "we should sign that guy!" as their default mode, but can we please be serious?

Glenn was cut by Bill Belichick for being a nut-job malcontent, despite being THE most talented player on a team with a Super Bowl in their sites. He plays a position of relative depth on the roster. He is a great example of a selfish player willing to distract.

Come on, guys. Get real.

Although I was seriously down on the kid his last season here, I wish only the best for him. Independent of his questionable health, if he were on the Pats it would speak volumes about the coaches perceived lack of talent in Jackson, Washington and developmental WRs. Pass. Hope he catches on elsewhere once WRs start droping like flies, and I hope that's not here.

Terry Glenn can go to hell for all I care. I used to feel bad for the guy because of his background, but when he tried to highjack the 2001 season from the Patriots he became dead to me.

Belichick should sign him and torture him in training camp and then cut his arse in the first cuts. That's all Glenn deserves.

Glenn is one of my least favorite players in the league.

I agree, that piece of crap can rot in hell for all I care. Has people forgot about 2001 already wow.

but how can we afford picking up terry glenn and brett favre

Please....He doesn't work hard enough to be a Patriot as evidenced by our first title run. When it came to everyone getting on board that year for our historic run, he was last in line.

Besides, Moss, Welker, Gaffney and Jackson are more than adequete to sustain excellence. Why add someone that doesn't know the offense and imo doesn't run very good routes?

Glenn lives on another planet. He still has a good situation there in Dallas if he just put's in the effort to beat out the competition and works in the offseason to stay healthy. But most Pats fans have their own opinion of his work ethic and I think the majority know what that is. No way to Glenn. This was a bizzare discussion btw. Hell would freeze over before it happened.

Terry Glenn?? Are you people serious??

Good god. Get real.

Even if you convinced me to forget 2001, that Terry Glenn has completely changed as a person and teammate, where does he fit in? Wide receiver is the last position the Patriots nedd to upgrade, and Glenn has, to the best of my knowledge, never played on special teams. He's 34 years old, coming off knee surgey, probably can't pass a physical, and has missed 26 games in the last four seasons to injuries. I'd much rather see a healthy Jackson or Gaffney on the field than a gimpy Glenn.

If Glenn wants to sign a one-day contract and retire as a Patriot, maybe play in one series of the first preseason game, fine - though I doubt that this is where Glenn's fondest memories are. And even if that's what Glenn wanted, I'm not so sure BB would go for it either, as the Pats would need to release somebody to make room for him.

Let Glenn go to Miami, they need receivers, and he can reunite with Parcells.
