Go back to the 20's and it isn't. After all, the Yankees alone have one less championship than the Red Sox, Patriots, and Celtics combined. Bruins do have one more championship than the Rangers, but the Knicks add 2, giving Boston one less title when just comparing the 4 major pro sports. Of course nobody cares about titles won 80 years ago.go back to the fifties boston is still title town.
Let's put it this way, if I went on a rant against Pujos (and no, I don't know what they are either), you'd wonder why my name was Pujo despite my hatred for them.
I think BP's wife must have died or something because he's been a hurricane of disdain lately.
And what pro football team do most football fans in Boston watch? Really, are you insisting that Boston merely includes championships won within the city limits of Boston, as opposed to the general area? I can guarantee that's not what the poll is about, else Foxboro would have been a seperate choice. The Patriots and Boston never had much in common even when they were
playing there and named after the city. They were like homeless street people
to the city. Hey, if you want to shower Boston with the title go for it. The
Sox have two championships in the last 90 years and the Celtics one in the last
25. Bruins can't sniff a playoff much less a championship. Sounds good to me.

It's ESPN. Most of those comments are knee slappers.
