I believe he missed all of passing camp. I might be mistaken though. I'm sure pats1 can clear things up.

I think you are right. Of course there was no explanation, I know he got an award on one of the Days of Passing Camp in Orlando, but other than that I don't remember hearing anything.

He missed the first day of mini-camp...so it's some nagging injury and now they wish to play cautious...THAT is all that is about..I would not be overly worried...

That was in reference to Welker not Rodney...I don't think he missed any...my bad...a bit of two topics going on...I wouldn't worry about RH...older players have a way to develop these things..If it goes deep into camp..then maybe I would worry...

Welker had surgery before mini-camp ... probably just precaution at this point. Also ... if it's been a long recovery doesn't that usually mean he had a groin problem?

With the smaller number of players allowed in camp this year I see all these guys on PUP as nothing more than giving them some extra time to heal/rest and the younger guys more reps. I'd bet Welker, Vrabel, and Rodney will all be fine for opening day.

If Rodney was really injured would they have really made a "PR mistake" and left him off the PUP? Just a chance to get a look at more guys while staying at the limit...

OH yeah, duh. Well anyway, still gives them a chance to get a little more rest while getting a longer look at the younger guys.
