The Official: Who's going the Training Camp thread

Just got off the phone with my brother and we are heading down to Training Camp on Sunday, 7/27. It's a 2 1/2 hour drive and we will have to leave about 5:30 AM but I'm getting excited to see the guys out there.

So, who else has plans or are making plans to go down to Training Camp this year? I want to make 2 trips this year, if I can.:rocker:

I'll be there! I'm not sure which day though- we're thinking not Day1 but the following week instead. Not sure, but we're definitely going! I can't wait for 08

I'm going. I've only been able to go to opening day for the past few years but lucked out this year and will be able to see a week of practice. Not going opening day but intend on going from the 28th on. So excited!

I'll probably take a morning off from work during the week one day to go down. These training camp practices are getting too crowded to go to the afternoon or weekend practices.

I'm there. It's about three hours from here, plus traffic time, so may go down Wed. night and camp for opening day. Can't wait!

When you reach the I95 toll booth in NH, swing by and pick me up at 6:30AM.

I'll be there for the first two on thursday, I'll mis friday (only taken one day off), Sat is closed to public and I will be there again sunday. After that I will go to as many on the weekend as I can, and even some of the 5 or 5:30 practices during the week.

I have a real tough commute though 3 blocks and 2 miles up rte 1

I certainly hope that Mrs B continues to do her valuable training camp reports.

On the eve of Training camp we should start an "official been to training camp" thread. Every set of eyes see something different. So it would be good to hear from posters who have been to camp and what their observations are.

Maybe we should car pool to save gas....I live in Foxboro as well.

That sounds like a good idea. Gas prices are high (edit: understatement of the year) these days and that commute will drain your tank

I agree car pools would be good....as it IS expensive....I was there about 5 times last year..

we were joking about that because we are both from foxboro. Though if you are out of town it prolly is a good idea.
