Sirius QB Poll

He shouldn't yet. The guy's already in the conversation, and I bet that he's considered far and away the greatest when all's said and one, but for now it's Montana. Brady's career isn't even close to done.

P.S. Having Aikman up there is insulting to the rest of the list.

Just think....the man probably has to win just one more superbowl to be called the best ever....hell getting the pats to the conference championship with an old corey dillon and headlights caldwell as our best offensive weapons should be enough with the 3 superbowls to call him the best ever.

dude corey dillon was a beast that year. we don't have a smashmouth running game anymore and it hurt us this year.

casted my vote for Tom

Corey Dillon didnt run for 1000 yards that day...he was hurt for a quarter of the year....I think you have that confused with two years before

We do have some legacy on the 2008 Pats to this team, as Jackie Slater was named one of the top 2 OT's.

Hold on...so we're supposed to care about a poll that currently has Marino as the top QB of all time, that has Elway and Favre in the top 6, and has Aikman in the conversation?

riiiiiiiight....

And I agree with some of the other guys: Brady shouldn't be atop any list right now, because as of now he isn't the best ever. Granted, when all is said and done he'll probably top the list--another SB win, a few more seasons of production with even 80% of his output from last year, and he'll be tops. Given his production through this part of his career, his performance in pivotal games, etc, he's on pace to rank as the best of all time, we just have to pray for health, production and a few more championships.

Tom Brady isn't getting alot of love yet.

Check out the link: http://www.sirius.com/nflgreatest

Not a lot of love? With 9% of the votes, he trails only Marino (25%), Montana (23%) and Unitas (14%). He's ahead of Peyton (5%), Elway (6%) and Favre (7%), not to mention Aikman (3%), Graham (3%) and Starr (4%).

I gave him a homer vote because I assume other fans are doing the same, but, if I'm being honest, he hasn't yet earned the right to be put ahead of Montana and Graham and maybe even Starr and Unitas.

Well, when I posted, Brady had a lousy 4%. You think 4% is alot of love, when somebody like Marino who never won squat leads all QBs? I sure don't.

Lord Favre is now ahead of him, which I don't like so much. The others: Yeah, they should be ahead for now. He's among the greatest of all time already, and that's fine with me.

Favre is a fan favorite so not suprise he got lots vote, even though he doesn't deserve it.
I don't have lots problems with ppl thinking montana is the best ever now, because brady's career is not finished yet.

Brady is not sniffing anywhere near the top yet.

That top spot should be Joe Montana until Brady wins another or two or P. Manning wins 2 more,Unitas should be a consideration as well.

I'd like to see a poll on here asking how many people even know who Otto Graham is. I'd be surprised if it was 50%. Kids today don't seem to be interested in the history of football.

Had the last 35 seconds of last season been different his numbers would be considerably higher.

If Brady can have Favre like longevity (Currently has the second longest active consecutive QB starts in the league, all signs point to yes..) the guy can still have another 7 years of greatness in him. Hell Jeff Garcia is 38 and had a Pro-Bowl season last year.

Also at this same exact point in his career, Joe Montanna had only 2 Super Bowl rings and instead of recovering from a last minute Super Bowl loss he was recovering from 49-3 beatdown by the Giants in the divisional round of the playoffs and didn't get #3 until two seasons later at age 32.

I agree.

As for Marino possibly winning this poll, either winning means nothing to people, or there are alot of Florida people voting.

Marino is now starting to run away with it. Come on my peeps, take a second to give Tommy boy a little boost. :)

Peyton will be #1 after he retires...with more SB rings

Has he found a time machine that takes him back in time, where he can then knock Belichick over the head just before he Drafts Tommy?

Outside of that, Manning ain't winning any more Super Bowls - Unless they fall in his lap, need an example? 2006 - We blow a 21 point lead and Peyton plays Rex Grossman in the Super Bowl. Gimmie a freakin' break.
