I went to Barnes & Noble today to look for some football reading for the rest of my vacation. I wanted to get a college football preview magazine as I already have two pro football preview magazines that I've been through.

Anyway I was looking around while waiting for my wife and noticed Education of a Coach now on sale for $4.99. This is the hard cover edition and if you don't have it now it would be a great deal to get it. I got it for Xmas a couple of years ago and still read parts of it every once in a while.

Also, I looked at several the college football magazines and found Lindy's to be very well laid out for my needs. They rate the best college players by position and that will serve as a good "scouting" tool for the draft when watching games.

It does look like a very good CB class this year. :rocker:

i did think that $4.99 was a good deal for those who have not read the book yet.

LOL. I was lurking at PatsPlanet yesterday and saw a thread that either you ( or your brother?? ) posted about this. I def. care about it, it's a great deal :) I read my aunt's copy awhile back and always meant to go pick up my own. Thanks for the tip.

Agreed...it's a real short book so I wouldn't pay more than $10 for it anyway, but you can't beat 5 bucks for what is an extremely informative read.

Another book that'd be perfect for an easy, short read this summer: LT: Over the Edge. It's been out for about 5 years now, but for anyone who hasn't read it, if you like football and are interested in LT--both on and off the field--it's a very interesting read.

Yeah that LT book was a really good read.

I recently picked up The Art of War by Sun Tzu, it came highly recommended;)

Yea, there is a guy over there that copies some of my posts. I think he's a little paranoid about it.
