Fellow PatsFanners, the Pats/Pats players are all over the ballot for the ESPYs voting, so don't forget to vote (in fact, the Patriots, Sox, Celts, and Revolution are all over it).

The link is: www.espys.tv

I know alot of folks feel that ESPN is anti-Patriots and that this would be a good way to stick it to ESPN. I just think it would be great to watch the ESPYs and see a constant flow of New England all night long. This could be a record setting night for us, so hopefully you'll all take the time to vote.

I hate the ESPYs. They're much of what I consider to be wrong with sports today.

If you really think the fan vote counts, in this think again.. Espn has it pre determined already.. Its just the way that network works.. :explative

Vote all you want, but this is based on who's agreed to be at the show.

I gotta agree with PatJew - This stuff is crap.

More importantly we have training camp in less than three weeks and before you know it we'll be on the pitch bringing some serious beat downs.

Sean and Scottie, this may very well be pre-determined. Let's hope it's not, but with ESPN, you never know.

I'm still gonna vote, and hope for the best. :)

As I've pretty much come to disdain all things ESPN, I'll happily decline visiting their site!

Fair enough PatsChick, but wouldn't it be nice to stick it to them by flooding their program with New England winner after winner? In fact, regardless of that, wouldn't it be nice from a New England sports fan prospective to have the ESPYS 2008 be all New England, all the time:)?

I think it would be great, and I'm not a big fan of ESPN either. :)

yeah, yeah. you're right as usual, but vote whydontcha? let's support the good guys even if it's fixed.

i've stopped going to the ESPN website so my clicks don't help ESPN's ad revenue, and I've stopped watching anything on ESPN except games themselves (no SportsCenter, no NFL Live, eg.) but if we don't vote for our players, no one else will. Hold your nose. Go to ESPN and vote for the home folks. Please. Pretty please. Pretty please with a cherry on the top.

Right you are.

the ESPYs are a example of the crap coverage of sports. With sports the winning should go on on the field, no need for these stupid shows. It is ESPN actually making a story out of themselves. Instead of telling us who won the latest game they are telling us who wins ESPN. I don't care about ESPN except that they cover what I do care about.

I'll go a step further: I'll throw in some whipped cream, to go along with the cherry. I wanna win!!! :)

I love how the Pats aren't even in the category for Best Team. You gotta be kidding me..

I don't watch the ESPYs. I don't watch award shows. That's for gay men or ladies. Not that there's anything wrong with that...

I still don't get why there is an awards show for a form of entertainment that has it's own awards and the goal of each sport is to win the ultimate award. This isn't the movies where the ultimate prize for achievement is an Oscar or a Golden Globe. I don't think Brady went into last season hoping to win an ESPY the same way Heath Ledger went took the role of the Joker in think it could be an Oscar worthy performance.

Aw, c'mon, one day there'll be a Lifetime Achievement ESPY Award.

I hope there's not a category for best undefeated team to not win a championship.

Or biggest sports disappointment in history.

ok, i'll stop being so darn gloomy...

IM STILL UPSET!!!!!

Well, I hear Brady does need a new toilet paper holder for his master bathroom.

Bro, I'm with ya. Just a little negative when it comes to ESPN. I agree, vote and hope for the best.

However, I don't think those folks are going to give Tommy anything after he said, "ESPN is like MTV without the girls".

We have the team that's been to the most super bowls in that last 23 years, we have a stud new LB, we have the best locker room leadership in the league, we have the Greatest QB to ever play the game, we have the greatest receiver in the game today - possibly ever, we have a coach that hates to loose and a veteran core that's been there..done that.

There's a lot to be not so gloomy about. Cheer up and Embrace the hate in 2008. This year is going to be awesome.
