drunk driving :-\

sigh

It's always sad to see somebody die at age 27, but he brought it upon hismelf by driving drunk. Thankfully he didn't kill anybody else.

RIP.

Pretty sure he was the little a-hole who stepped on Brady's hand after the play was over. Brady was pissed, got right in his face.

He was also busted for sending codeine-based cough syrup to Texas. Quite a legacy, his parents must be very proud.

He is no Willie Andrews, that is for sure...

3 weeks to training camp, I don't think I am going to make it.

Wow I think the lack of remorse on this board is pretty cold.
A young man was lost and whatever mistakes he made before he could of corrected and it's a shame he didn't get on the right path my condolences go out to all his loved ones!

My condolences and prayers go out to this young man's loved ones.

Hopefully the Patsfans.com message board community can be a pillar of support for Kiel's family in these trying times.

Even still, RIP to this poor soul. God bless him and his family. No one should die at this young age. Rest in Piece young man. God Bless you.

Ugh. What a waste.

It's one thing to throw away a career. That just gives another guy a chance. But he threw away his whole life. :(

when they say ex-charger what do they mean? he won't play with them any longer, or he wasn't on the squad at the time of his death...

Horrible, horrible news.

Prayers and condolences to his family...:'(

I agree, very cold.

Guess you put the word Charger or Colt in front of something and on this board all sympathy is lost.

condolences to the Kiehl family.

I'm sorry, but whatever your intentions for this post, I cracked up. People around me at work turned around and just stared for a second. I LOL'ed.

Anyway, RIP to the guy. Never really heard of him before this but my condolences to his family.

Are you serious? We honor a dead football player who is dead because he was drunk? There's plenty of people out there who deserve a RIP thread ... this guy is not one of them IMO. Just because he played football he get's a thread ... please.

Re: Former Chargers Safety Farewell Thread Isn't Sticky on Chargers Board

And look at the threads they've got stick up there

http://forums.chargers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=140

You wanted to start a thread about another team's board's threads? Really?

It's supposed to say something that the discussion there isn't stickied? What is it supposed to say?

I think you're taking the team/fan hate/dislike too far with that one.

Why would they have to sticky it on their board? He was no longer a member of their team. Or do you mean to imply that if Willie Andrews died next week we should make a sticky for him and the team should wear his number on their helmets as their rallying cry towards a SB run?
