It's easy, and only takes a few moments.Bo is the son of Tom Ruud and the late Jaime Ruud and was born on Sept. 2, 1984. A business administration major, Ruud was a two-time second-team All-Big 12 selection and a four-time member of the Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll. He earned his bachelor's degree from Nebraska in December of 2007. He has volunteered with local hospital visits, American Education Week and the Lincoln Midget football league.
Bo Ruud started in each of his last three seasons at Nebraska, taking over at strong-side linebacker as a senior after playing on the weak side his first three seasons. His brother, Barrett, was an All-American and three-time All-Big Twelve Conference middle linebacker and is a starter for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Bo Rudd was a standout at Lincoln Southeast High School, and was Nebraska's earliest ever commitment, pledging his intention in June of 2001, 20 months before 2003 signing day. He helped the Knights to two Class A state titles. He was a two-way star, playing running back and linebacker. He rushed for 1,385 yards and 15 touchdowns and caught four passes for 125 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
who is Bo ruud? is he good?

He is no Adam Seward.
At best he is the 53-58 player on the roster, he has some potential to make the practice squad.
As a Nebraska fan, I was thrilled when they drafted him. He's smart and a hard worker which helps, now we'll see if he can get his body and talent to the level it needs to be. I think he will make the squad this year because there is no way he lands on our practice squad.
How come a "hard worker"
hasn't ALREADY "gotten his body to the level it needs to be?"

Players entering the draft do not spend their senior year focusing on getting their bodies ready to play football. They focus on scoring high at the combine and pro day.How come a "hard worker"

I'm not a big Ruud fan and still do not believe that he will make the final roster.
Few years ago, at least, Nebraska was reputed to have
the finest weight room in the NCAA.
Great recruiting asset.
Led to numerous Cornhusker linemen going to the bigs.

2 down, 5 to go.
our #1 pick is not signed. I hope he is not already a bust.
