Which team has the best offense in the AFC East?
Jeremy Green: This is a slam dunk because the New England Patriots have not only the best offense in this division, they have the best offense in the NFL. The Patriots return all their key weapons on the offensive side of the ball except for WR Donte' Stallworth, whose production is replaceable. The key was re-signing WR Randy Moss, which will allow WR Wes Welker to stay in the slot. Opposing defenses somewhat solved the spread offense late last season, but the Patriots will add tweaks such as more man coverage and occasionally leaving a tight end in to help with blitz pressure. With the best quarterback in the NFL in Tom Brady at the controls they will finish 2008 as the No. 1-ranked offense in the NFL again.

It won't pop up for me - what's so funny about it?

Am I the first one to notice ESPN "Insider" Jeremy Green thinks our spread offense is going to more man coverage this year?

That's quite a scoop if true.

I'm insecure about my football knowledge, so I figured there must be a way we could cover the defense man to man and run our offense at the same time.

Basically all of the Yes votes are from within New england, all of the No votes from outside.

New Hampshire wins

North Dakota wins outside of NE

What a great read....we are so freaking good, that it really is a reach for some of these guys to find any area on this team that is lacking.

I am so excited about the 2008 New England Patriot football team that I am willing to skip summer & training camp and go directly to September's opening game.

Seriously, we are that good. Of course I realize that on paper means nothing and injuries can change everything. But, barring any kind of injury bug - we will win it all this year and take it wire to wire, with ease.

There's gotta be, ESPN says so.

Ask any offensive coordinator and he'll tell you; the mark of a good offense is there being no space between the offensive and defensive players. Hopefully changing over to man coverage will help our receivers stick to the defensive backs like glue. Last year there were far too many of our guys running around open in the secondary.

Best offense...Best defense...unanimous...yeah. ESPN finally got something right.
