*shakes head*

Re: Judge revives Jets STH Spygate lawsuit

Another example of what's wrong with our court system. Another example of where our tax money is wasted.

Re: Judge revives Jets STH Spygate lawsuit

Oh, give it up already!

Federal Judge gives Jets season ticket holder more time for lawsuit against the Pats

This absurd lawsuit is a travesty to the judicial system and a ****** like this Jets fan needs to get a life - This guy wants his money back for every game the Jets played at Giants Stadium since Belichick was coach and now he gets an extension to continue this beyond stupid dispute.

This just pisses me off more than any other part of this whole spygate affair!!

Re: Federal Judge gives Jets season ticket holder more time for lawsuit against the P

There are corrupt organizations all over the world, there are child rapists and murders sitting in cells for months waiting for sentencing, we have people being paralyzed from shootings and car accidents waiting for trials, and then we have douche bags(excuse my language) like this guy, wasting the time of judges, jurors, etc with pointless lawsuits with no relative point. Why doesn't he sue the NFL for all the mistakes the officials made in Jets games at Giants Stadium? Why doesn't he sue Thomas Jones for being a total bust at Giants Stadium.

Unbelievable.

Re: Judge revives Jets STH Spygate lawsuit

This is a perfect example of what is wrong with the judicial system. This case simply should have been dismissed as the joke it is.

i think next time i go to a sporting event and it rains without it being in the forcast i will sue the weather man.

Wow, we're on page 2 and nobody's brought up that the judge could be a Jets fan, or a Colts fan, or is in on the massive anti-Patriots conspiracy.

Is the judge a journalist for ESPN?

What a waste of time and court fees.....

"The suit calculated that because customers paid $61.6 million to watch eight "fraudulent" games, they're entitled to triple that amount — or $184.8 million — in compensation under the federal Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organization Act and the New Jersey Consumer Fraud Act."

I think this guy will get shot before any of this happens....by Giants fans.....

Just because the judge gave them a contiuance, doesn't mean this case will go anywhere. They got the continuance by submitting a handwritten note to the judge saying they are going to amend the charges and add plantiffs. It seems like a stall tactic if I ever saw one. This case isn't going to get off the ground any time soon.

I agree. The judge was just extending a one time courtesy which would be afforded to any litigant. The article says that the Pats were never served with the Complaint. Therefore, there is no substantive "Motion to Dismiss" pending, so there is no one opposing these clowns at this point. If they in fact eventually serve the Pats (doubtful - I guarantee the clowns are shopping for competent counsel and can't find any), the Pats' first move will be to file said Motion to Dismiss, which should be summarily granted. The Pats of course are staying out of it at this point as without service of the Complaint, technically there is no lawsuit.

Afran and Meyer are both attorneys suing 'in the public interest"...........

That's all I have to say.

Everytime I look at the news I have a new reason to weep for humanity.
