I think Purcell knows it to. You may be right about what he will do, but if he has any brain at all, he will keep the profits from that land sale and take ANY deal he can get to keep printing ONLY if it results in a profit. Fire as many employees as you have to so long as you don't lose money. They minute that rag loses money again, you sell it off in a firesale... take anything you can get for it and go retire with the land profits still in hand.
Exactly right. When the owner starts selling off assets like oh... the LAND needed to keep the Herald in Boston, it shows that he's about to go into fire sale mode.
