I think it may be fear of NE coming to town or the fact that the weather will probably be mighty cold but regardless of those, you would think Bills fans who are not season ticket holders and wanted to see a game in Buffalo would choose the last regular season game which could be a do or die for the Bills or at least see an opponent worthy of freezing for

Hmmm Interesting,I thought the NE game would have been the FIRST to sell out.

If it weren't December 28, I'd agree with you. But a lot of people, I'm guessing, aren't even sure they'll be in Buffalo at that point.

It will sell out, of course, and probably sooner rather than later.

Re: Bills sell out individual tickets to all of thier home games EXCEPT the Patriots

They probably just don't want to see their beloved Bills get their asses kicked by the Pats yet again. Can't say I blame them. :D

56-10 last season probably has something to do with this.

Re: Bills sell out individual tickets to all of thier home games EXCEPT the Patriots

Not only will it be freezing cold but it's at Xmas time.

I live in Buffalo and nearly busted my desk when I saw when they scheduled the game. I'll be in New England during the Bills/Buffalo game.

Thanks a lot NFL!

What makes it worse is that I always manage to catch a Patriots game around Christmas, either at Giants Stadium or Gillette (have seen the Jets/Pats twice at Giants recently, and the Giants/Pats once).

Arrrrrrrgggggghhhh!

I'm going to that game, and BB better not think about resting the starters.

the chargers used to do the same thing when they played the raiders. you had to buy tickets to at least 4 chargers games if you wanted the raiders game tickets

So much for thinking of making the Buffalo road trip. I can imagine the driving conditions.

Teams use ticket tricks like this all the time to try to keep fans of the visiting team out of the arena/stadium. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

When BC was still in the Big East, you could not buy tickets to the UConn home game the last year without buying season tickets or another ticket plan. Individual game tickets were "sold" (read: given) to a lot of faculty and snapped up by season ticket holders in a separate sale from the general public.

Some baseball teams have used similar tactics with Red Sox and/or Yankees tickets. Buy x-number of tickets to a team's games and get first dibs at Sox or Yankees tickets. Or, buy Sox or Yankees tickets and get free/discounted tickets to other home games.

I know one kid that will be there for revenge and we all remember him in the stands after we scored our 56th point against his favorite team. Ah yes, he was that kind, gentle sole wearing the Marshawn Lynch shirt.:D

Is the NY Patriots fan club purchasing group tickets again this year?

ROFL. Seriously, who wants to see their team blown out by about 50 points? I think they were traumatized by last season's beatdown. :) I don't blame them.

Good thinking! Let's turn this road game into a surprise home game for the Pats! :) Easier to get tix too...

FWIW, it was actually when the Pats went for it on 4th down when they were up 42-10, as you can see here. :D

Hopefully this guy's puppy survived the night after he got home at 1am.

Looks more like a homeless guy,Probably hangs out at the 24 hour Buffalo diner and sleeps in an alley behind Wilson Stadium

I wonder if this guy has any idea that his mug was plastered all over the place since that game. I remember when they showed his mug live, the hair on the back of my neck actually stood up. I was also thinking "kick the field goal"...........

Remember, boys, pride cometh before the fall (I'll bet some of you were the same guys who signed onto the Feb. 1 thread entitled, "Who Else Senses a Blowout?"). On that going for it on 4th and other similar behavior last year, remember, too, what goes around, comes around.......

On the failure to sell out this game, I think the guy above hit the nail on the head with the fact that it's X-Mas time, which means about 25-30% of the normal fanbase won't even be home then, combined with the weather is the main reason for this being the last game to sell out. It will still sell out, have no fear, but it may take a bit longer. A smaller bit is getting our arses handed to us last year, 56-10 and 38-7--not too much of a stretch to guarantee that this year's games will be closer:D

Re: Bills sell out individual tickets to all of thier home games EXCEPT the Patriots

I heard that tickets to the Pats games were only sold in blocks of 15 as a way to keep Pats fans away.
