No. He's not joking.
In the 2nd half of the season, the games started getting very competitive for some reason. Remember Baltimore? How about Philly?
All the blow outs came mainly in the first half of the season.

well, i was just kidding, but as long as you want to get all serious ;)

yes, i remember those games. are you implying that those games were close because of the o-line? if so, now you need to back up the statement with some facts.

Link, please?

Top vote getter at tackle last year.

It's foolish to leave Neal out of any discussion of the right side when none of us know his status other than he missed camps so far. Hell, we don't even know the extent of his injury.

It's just as likely he'll be ready for the opener.
I don't think "it's just as likely"..He was out of camp for a reason..an injury..knee injury. No, we do not know the extent of that but having a player miss camp less than 2 months before TC is certainly a sign he likely will not be ready to go at the start of camp. PUP?? Given how the team is fairly conservative about injuries, I think it is likely PUP for him...giving him a real chance to heal and recover. He most likely will be back LATER in teh year, but I really do NOT think he'll be 100% at the start of camp and that usually means PUP.

Actually, what I think happened in the 2nd half of the season was that the refs were letting more slide by the opposition on our recievers. Yeah, I know. Tin hat. But I believe that's true. Consequently, Tom needed more time leaving our trench guys out there for more abuse leaving them pretty well beaten up for the playoffs.

Meanwhile, Randy makes a motion like Hawaiian luau dancer at a cb and it's an automatic opi flag.

yeah, i'll more than agree about the refs. welker was getting bear hugs as the season went on.

In conclusion I have to say that though it appeared our OL wasn't capable in the SB, the truth is, they are more tham capable under most circumstances.
They just weren't 100% or even near it for the play offs.
Than Neal has to go down early in the game which only compounded our OL struggles in that game.
BTW. Our TEs weren't too impressive in that game, either.

It's more likely that Neal was out of camp because of the shoulder injury that needed surgery this offseason. Even if he were to start on PUP, that does not preclude him from being ready for the season opener.

Have you given up on Ellis Hobbs, Jarvis Green, Kelley Washington, and Ben Watson? They missed the most recent rounds of minicamps as well. Should they also be forgotten when discussing the secondary or tight ends or depth at WR and DE?

No one cares about the pre-season PUP list. When most of us talk about a player being on the PUP list, we are discussing being on the list for Game 1 which means that the players is unavailable for about half the regular season.

Okay...

It's June. Aside from knee-jerk reactions, you have nothing to support Neal beginning on the regular season PUP.

Has there been any new news on Stephen Neal's status for the 2008 season?
