Will Mangenius stay? Will Schottenheimer (SP?) say yes to the Jets?

Get on record now.

I predict a new coach in 09, dont know who but there will definately be a new one

Master Splinter...fits there criteria.

08 season is the last opportunity for Rat to prove that he can be there. If this season record is no good, Rat will be gone for sure. I'm sure Jets will look for a 'Pats' coach to lead their team.

Josh McDaniels?

Schottenheimer is the likely choice, he's at least capable of getting them to the playoffs year in year out as a wildcard team, and brings at least a little success to the position. Not sure he's dumb enough to take the job with that ownership, but if he is, my gut says he's the next coach of the New York Jokes

I think there's a possibility he gets canned but I don't think it'll be deserving. The Jets organization and all their fans seem to think their headed back to the post-season because of some off-season signings.

First thing I don't get is all the hoopla over Damien Woody. He was a very medicore center in Detroit and was just another guy when he moved to right tackle.

They spent way too much money in free agency and while it might have propelled them from a 5-11 team to a 6-10 or 7-9 team, the Jets are going to be cellur dwellers in a couple of years when they are cap strapped to all those washed up vets.

I think management should be on indictment for all those signings, not Mangini.

My sentiments exactly. Hope you guys kick some jet butt and get some payback this year on em. the finz are starting to look decent again. Good luck.:rocker: ( Just a thought, I would love to see D. Wannstadt take over there. LOL. That would be the ultimate F>U> !! )

Im surprised that the "D" coordinator from the Giants didn't get a ton of job offers after his gameplan versus us in the SB. Would not be shocked to see him get the job. Spagnuolo I believe is his name......

He did get a bunch of job offers but, in the end, stayed in NY and got ridiculously paid for it.

Yea that would be worse than Petrino in Atlanta. We (Fins) will go ahead knock the Jets around on opening day, just for you guys to come in and totally demolish them. Team effort baby. Lets destroy the Jets.

Sorry, I saw that you're a newcomer. Well welcome to our boards. I'm betting you fans are just about frothing at the mouth now waiting for the season to start. Tuna will do a good job down there I'm sure. You also have a lot of new young talent to rebuild the team with. I sure miss the battles we had over the years. BTW, the Finz are my 2nd team. so I'll be watching closely too.

Um... how to you root for the Pats then call the Dolphins your second team?

Hey thanks man, I really appreciate that. :rocker:

Yeah that was something I didn't understand at all.

My most hated teams are the Patriots, Jets, Colts and Bills. I hated the Colts from the old school AFC East but they still bug me because of their fans. One of my good buddies is a Colts fan and he's dumb as rocks.

Then again, I guess 85% of football fans don't really know much about the game so that could be said with every fan base.

ah Pats and Phins fans working together for a greater good, if it wasn't about the Jets it would bring a tear to my eye.
