Guess he is still kicking around, cannot believe just spent about 5 minutes getting this article up, reading it and posting it.. 5 minutes of my life will not get back.. talk about the obvious and duh!!! Guess this is what he will be regulated to this year..

http://www.bostonherald.com/sports/football/patriots/view.bg?articleid=1101003&format=text

KEY STATS: Take the Super Bowl out of the equation, and this group did an outstanding job last season in protecting quarterback Tom Brady [stats], who dropped back for more pass attempts (578) than any QB except Drew Brees, yet was sacked only 21 times.

ANALYSIS: If the Patriots [team stats] were concerned about the play of their line in the Super Bowl, they didn’t show it this offseason. They failed to sign or draft a single impact lineman, instead adding veteran Ross for depth and otherwise feeling content to head into training camp with most of the starting jobs seemingly nailed down. The one X-factor is Kaczur, who has had some legal troubles since the season ended. The Patriots have stood by him, but with the massive O’Callaghan pushing him already, it’s possible that this is the year Kaczur is beaten out. Another question is the health of Neal, who had offseason shoulder surgery and has been banged up in recent seasons.

Wow, what a great piece! So much info, so well written. I guess that's all you can get watching things from the top of Circuit City.:singing:

Did we really 'fail' to sign any 'single impact' lineman or did we choose to keep quiet? I think the latter but Mr. Tomase knows a lot more on football and of course, has the maturity to print whatever he hears. ;)

I think that he's not familiar with the Bill B. process. But that makes sense, it's not like he covers the team for a Major Newspaper or anything.....what an idiot.

Tomas eats Vanilla. And Chocolate. And Strawberry... something we did know.

Who's Tomase? Never heard of him. Probably works for some lousy newspaper whose website I never go to anymore or something.

I can see Tomase as being the type of guy who is still sweating despite a New England winter.

Huh, interestingly the comments feature seems to be disabled for this "article."

tomase is still alive and kicking? He can keep his opinion to himself.

It will be interesting to see how this plays out once training camp opens up and then the regular season. Right now there just aren't too many compelling stories and angles for journalists to cover on this team.

I think you are right. The Herald bafoons think that they can skate through the slow part of the year with Tomase still on the beat and then when things really get going, everything will be water under the bridge.

Sorry Herald and Tomase... WE WILL NOT FORGET! I still haven't visited the site since the story broke except for a few days when the editor apologized, followed by that pathetic non-apology from fatso, and ending with Massarotti impaling the Herald on it's own sword with his stupid hit piece on us fans.

Hopefully the Herald is still hurting financially over this issue. Keep banning them until heads roll.
