Good. That'll be a fun story next year. He will be hounded by every media outlet leading up to the game. Dude will watch himself get burned 10000000 times on ESPN and the NFLN.
Maybe so, but all I gotta say is that yer defense better be prepared to stop Roethlisberger,Parker,Mendenhal(not even sure if thats spelled right lol),Holmes,Ward,Sweed and Miller. I know I know, our O-line isn't all that great but I dont care!!!!:D

Steelers will end the streak again ;)

it only happens if yours manages to be in a champtionship game. Colts defeated us because Brady didn't have any receivers but I am sure we will defeat healthy Colts again in this season and Colts fans will not have any excuse for loosing this time.

Brady will have an opportunity to defeat Manning brothers in this season again.:D Karma is a b!tch.:rocker:

You gotta lot of faith in a few guys that have never lined up against a Pro Defense. That's cool.

Perhaps they can do better than 13 Points.

lol I didn't name only the new guys, but I hear what your saying and I know they havent proven themselves on the field yet. Though Mendenhall should have an immediate impact, and once sweed starts adjusting to the NFL and getting comfortable in our offense I have know doubt in my mind he'll overtake an aging and breaking down ward sooner than most people think.

I think the streak will end in seatle.

i'd say its gonna go up hight to 27 but i defenately don't think the chiefs will give trouble to the pats. Maybe next year.

Young Tom has not yet called less-young Tom on the Crank n Prank Timephone to say "don't call me when you're in my neighborhood, call me when you're in my driveway."

That's the real question.. how long before the '04 Patriots start making commercials together to tease the 08 Patriots... actually it would be a funny as hell ad.

Somehow the Jets end this streak.

I love it and this is something that I repeatedly say it here because I want to see it. 38-0 is freaking madness. I hope it happens.:rocker:

That sounds like the stuff of happy aneurysms (if there can be such a thing)... :singing:

i don't consider it an accomplishment as much as a technicality. a loss in the superbowl is a loss, and i'm not going to discount it just because it's not in the regular season.

i felt the same way with the last win streak.

really, you can only add so many restrictions on an accomplishment before it loses it's appeal.

the '07 dolphins were the greatest team to ever win against the ravens in overtime and still have the first overall pick while having an entire team know differential calculus.
The thing being is that regular season games are a fairer measure of the competition. Whereas during the RS you typically have a mix of top-notch, good, average, weak and down right crap opponents, play-off opponents tend to range between good and top-notch. You would never get close to the record if you constantly played playoff calibre opponents.

However, the Pats in 2003-2004 established an overall win streak longer than the regular season and play-offs, thus a team now needs to win through the play-offs and the Super Bowl to break this overall record; no team would be able to break this record by sneaking it through an undefeated regular season and immediately going under in the divisionals. So for this reason, I agree, let's eliminate the official regular season record and go with an official "overall" record.
