So Florio is guessing that Tomase might have been pulled from the Pats beat due to the relative lack of updates on his blog. The Herald appears to have denied it, and Tomase was at minicamp.

In my view, it shouldn't matter if Tomase is or isn't on the Herald Pats beat - I wouldn't touch that fishwrap wearing a bio-hazard suit. Replacing Tomase doesn't make a darn bit of difference to the editorial staff, now does it?

P.S., half sorry for posting a thread devoted to a Florio guess, but if it wasn't me it would be somebody else. </end copout>

Tend to agree..the herald is a poorly run paper..makes me sort of laugh when I find a copy to read..

Who cares? Zero credibility.Nuff' said.

We are now entering the deadest month on the calendar for NFL fans - the month of June. The draft is over as well as analysis of every team's selections. Training camp is still weeks away and the first pre-season game is two months away. For enterprises such as PFT that are dedicated to football 365 days a year, this is a difficult time to keep their customers returning to their site on a regular basis. The column is called "The Rumor Mill" which allows the author a certain amount of leeway to stray away from fact, past opinion, and closer to speculation occasionally, when needed to spark interest and debate.

Remember people.

If the Herald is dumb enough to let the Tomase article print, what makes you think they're not dumb enough to let him stay?

I realized that mate.

Did my post seem angry? I always thought Kermit was perceived to be a high spirits type of a guy.

No, you didn't seem angry at all. But I just wanted to make sure. In case you had a bad day or something.

Man, I know when we've hit the football doldrums when I'm writing stuff like this!

Soon you'll be inviting trolls over for coffee after arguments.

it is kind of wierd though that one of the biggest things in the offseason, he is not reporting anything... But who knows and who cares, the damage was done, its starting to heal, then Spectgate comes back... Just give some football

Well ...so I Google Tomase and searched news.

Seems Tomase is covering the Red Sox.

Great, now Tomase is writing about baseball. Guess I can't believe the Herald's Red Sox coverage anymore, either. We'll never forget loser - just quit already!!
