The link at RT is weaker now than it was last week. I doubt that old, slow and fat Oliver Ross is the answer. That answer has a better chance of being provided by O'C or Britt.
If I were the FO, I would have called Shane Olivea's agent as soon as I heard about Nick the Snitch. Olivea is someone I wanted signed as insurance against Neal's ability to return to full strength; with his less-than-ideal height and wingspan for RT, Olivea could be a better fit at RG going forward. If Neal is - or will soon be - good to go, then I will be far less concerned with the OL than I am right now.
As far as the guy who "needs to play better" is concerned, Matt Light, at this stage of his career, is who he is: an above-average starting LT on a SB contender, and nothing more, or less. The only way that he's at the Pro Bowl is if he buys a ticket, but because of the retirement of Tarik Glenn and the near-retirement play of Jon Ogden, Light gets the nod by near-default. I consider Jason Peters, Joe Thomas, Levi Jones, Khalif Barnes, Michael Roos and Marcus McNeill all at or above Light's level. If the FO could ever find another Bruce Armstrong, then Light would make a legitimate Pro-Bowl-caliber LG or RT.
