Nothing surprising but I like his rankings and are pretty accurate to what I see as NFL powers right now - The Packers ranked way down towards the middle of the league seems about right since Favre would probably make the difference between 3 or 4 less wins,I also like where he sees the champion Giants this year, below the Cowboys

i think the patriots are the favorites to win it all going into the season.....

Once Arthur Blank starts driving Matt Ryan around training camp in a golf cart, Gosselin should look into somehow dropping the Falcons below 32.

lol, thats funny

every tiem i see one of these power rankings this year, the words "fluke bowl" automatically come to mind

and i cant even help it

I dont know what championships we proceeded to win after we let go of Law...however, I like his rankings.

Pats-Rams was a fluke bowl then. Don't get me wrong, I agree the Giants win might've been a fluke, and yes in reality, it took a whole lot of crazy-a** shyt to go down in order for the Pats to lose that game, but it doesn't matter. You don't win championships b/c you're the best team in the league 18 out of the 19 games, and these Patriots know that, so I don't think we'll see a letdown going into this season.

the pats/rams sb is only a fluke if the pats don't continue their dominance. the giants are going to have to prove this was not a fluke.

Don't forget, the Pats failed to make the playoffs the ensuing season. I wouldn't be surprised if that happened to the NYG as well, to be honest.

I think the only people who will not put the Pats at #1 are writers who always put the Superbowl teams 1st. Why else wouldn't you put an 18-1 team at 1st? An intact 18-1 team
