I have an intense hatred for Tridon Holliday. He killed the Gators last time they played.

That said, he'd look mighty good with a Flying Elvis on his helmet.

that is scary, scary speed, what are his skills like though?

As the article states, size is the primary issue here. At 5'6", 160 or 170, presuming he can somehow add 10 pounds without losing his incredible speed, he'd still get killed in the NFL.

Cleveland had a tiny guy like that in the 80's maybe, I think his name was Gerald "Ice Cube" McNeil. About 5'5" and 150, and hard to get a hand on as a KO returner.

The bad thing is if he ever does take a hit then you wonder how long he'd last. Straight line speed is overrated, too. If he has good footwork and speed in and out of cuts, though, he could find a role.

Mc Neil was damn impressive. I agree about this guy though. The hits are even harder these days and one can't imagine him doing anything more than returning. I'd stick to sprinting if I were him.

Darren Sproles is about the same size as this guy and he has done very well for himself. Yes, Sproles has the knee injury, but I don't believe it was from a hit.

How about the Patriots own Mighty Mac Herron.

That kind of speed is impressive....I would be happy to take a flier on him when he comes out. It will be interesting to see what he can do this year as the article stated they are trying to expand his role.

He could be like tim dwight never play a full season but have great potential as a returner and slot. He may not last very long but great to watch.

At Auburn, years ago, a couple of scouts said that Bo Jackson ran a 4.0.

I've never seen anybody run like Jackson.

Any time you hear that a player has run faster than a 4.2, it's 99% guaranteed to be BS. There are loads of rumors with Bo Jackson, but none have ever been confirmed. It would be very, very interesting to see what time Holliday would put up at a combine, though.

Wouldnt mind seeing that kinda speed in a patriots uniform returning kicks or something

For what it's worth, Trindon Holliday is no longer the fastest football player ever.

He's not even the fastest football player in the SEC right now. That honor belongs to incoming Florida freshman Jeff Demps:

Crossing the finish after Gay was high schooler Jeff Demps of Okahumpka, Florida, who crushed two records and tied a third with his time of 10.01. It broke Walter Dix's American junior record of 10.06 from 2005 as well as J-Mee Samuels' national high school record of 10.08, also from 2005. He tied the world junior record of 10.01, held since 2003 by Darrel Brown of Trinidad & Tobago.

For every Bob Hayes, Deion Sanders, or Darrell Green that succeed in the NFL, there's a Johnny 'Lam' Jones, Rocky Thompson, or Bethel Johnson that leaves fans disappointed.

Based on his productivity obviously speed by itself does not a good football player make.
