This issue should bother anyone as much as a Patriots fan being from another part of the country or liking Boston rivals (Yankees, Lakers, Canadiens). Personally I don't care as long as we all show up on Sundays.

Not a concern at all...

Re: Does a Patriots player being a fan of another sports team out of state bother you

i love brady even more now hes a yankee, how ever, if he ever wears a liverpool fc shirtor anything to do with that ****e known as a club, i will never like him again

and exactly what do you have against the liverpudlians?

Re: Does a Patriots player being a fan of another sports team out of state bother you

There was a commotion when Brady was seen wearing a Yankees cap and someone talked about him wearing a Giants cap as well and I am sure other Patriots players and coaches doing the same thing as a fan of another sport and a team outside of the New England states - Even Belichick was seen in a pic a year ago wearing a St. Louis Cardinals cap when hanging out with his buddy LaRussa.

With that being said,Does it bother you when you see a Patriots player or coach wearing a cap or shirt of another team in another sport out of state?

I remember people telling me since I am born and raised in PA that I should be a fan of the Steelers,Eagles,Penguins ect: and I telll them all PA teams suck and they say to me if you don't like them maybe you should move to New England since you are a Pats and Celtics fan,Of course I tell them to F-Off.

Does it bother you and do you think a Patriots player should embrace the other sports local teams and never a rival team or in another area of the country?

When Curt Schilling went on BDSSP in a Roethlesberger jersey all Red Sox fans can suck me.

Seriously, Mr.Mercenary did it on purpose on the eve of the AFCC. If Brady is in NY trying to blend in as a guy who looks like Tom Brady and some moron Red Sox fans get upset, they can suck me.

This is insane. Why on earth do I care who someone elses favorite baseball team is???????????????? Are you serious??

Re: Does a Patriots player being a fan of another sports team out of state bother you

They can wear what they please, if they must; just so long as that, while they are living/working in NE during football season, they refrain from wearing the caps of the MFYs, LA Fakers and Montreal Canadiens. They can wear those disgusting and insulting things wherever they live during the off-season, just not in NE during football season.

No!!!

Patriot players did not all grow up rooting for New England area teams.
I would rather have a real homer Patriot fan than a fake one.

It does hurt to see a Yankees hat but it is what it is. :bricks:

Couldn't have said it better. Who cares?

I think Tom Brady could kick my dog and I'd still be madly in love with him.

Can I kick your dog?

Re: Does a Patriots player being a fan of another sports team out of state bother you

What he wears on his head, who he bangs and whether he likes sushi are not relevant to me.

I kinda care a bit about who he bangs. I like the feeling of looking at him and his life as something most people can only dream about. He personifies things that many of us wish we were, and we enjoy getting a little share of that by following his football career and life story.

Now, if he were banging that chick that sued Randy Moss then there'd be a big stain on that dream. Then I'd probably be saying his personal life is completely meaningless to us and that as long as he wins football games nothing else matters.

Yes. No one should expect players on one New England/Boston team to root for other professional teams in the area. However, these players do know who the rivals of the other teams are and they should avoid publicly wearing the caps/tee shirts, etc. of those rivals while they are conducting their business in New England. It's just plain courtesy to their fans who, in the majority, root for the other New England/Boston teams.

I remember when the "uproar" over the Brady in the Yankees hat picture took place, and I rolled my eyes then. He's the greatest quarterback of our generation, and he plays for the NFL team I love. I don't care if he wears a Derek Jeter replica jersey, or tattoos Barry Bonds' name on his arm...

I kinda agree. I don't care about the head gear thing.

I do kinda care about who he's banging though. Tom is an icon to most of us. He does no wrong. When he takes the fields and leads our team, we're all with him. When he win's, we win. When he loses, we lose. When he wins the SB, it's like WE ALL win the SB.

When he gets to bang Gisele, it's like we're all................... you know what I'm saying ;) :singing:

:rocker:
