Denver at #19 looks too high,The Broncos may be a team ranked 20th best right now.

Minnesota at #24 looks too low,I can see Minnesota with another great season from Adrian Peterson and new WR Berrian helping to win that division this season.

On 1/1/08 he says "The Colts don't drop from second spot despite the loss. Why? The other top teams lost and they didn't play to win against the Titans". Very deserving of 2nd. They're lucky those teams lost, plus throughout almost the whole trend all he does is whine about some Colts' player's injury. Now his latest reasoning for not making them #1 is Dwight Freeney's health. It all rides on Dwight Freeney apparently.

Has anybody heard the Patriots complaining about the Herald article saying it helped lead to their defeat in the Super Bowl? I haven't...I've heard only the opposite. Only the fans have really said that.

What they actually said is that they had better things to do that weekend than meet with the league about this issue, and they are right. Of course some will treat that like excuse-making but it is stating the obvious.

It's already been touched on, but why in the WORLD was he tempted to put the Colts in the number one spot?? They didn't even make it to the AFCCG. That's honestly one of the most bizarre things I've ever read, it's like he felt he was being too nice to the Patriots up until then and had to take a shot at them.

Prisco has 5 of the top 7 teams from the AFC. If the Giants hadn't managed three upsets in the playoffs they would likely not have been among that 7.

The Pats have a tougher row to hoe tin the AFC, o get back to the Superbowl, bu theri Divisdon Cahmpionship is assured evenif the dreade happened ot brady.

For the first time in ages, the Colts don't have a coronation in their Division. I think they remain the division favorite but it wouldn't surprise me either to see them finish fourth in the AFC South either.

That is unprecedented.

The Chargers have had a few years to mature and maybe thery are ready to do it, in the West.

The AFC North is full of average to better clubs and anyone could win it, but none are good enough to win the Superbowl.

Wasn't Prisco the person last year who wouldn't put the Pats above the Colts because they were the Super Bowl winners? He kept on using that as his reasoning I think. Why isn't he doing that with the Giants this year?
