TomASSe suspended or just on a twinky binge?

Probably busy with interviews as he sets to embark on his next career.

If it was a suspension, they would want to publicize it, no?

A Mansfield native and Tufts grad, he grew up during the Steve Grogan era and is coming around on this Brady guy, even though he'll always have a soft spot for No. 14 and his neck roll.

Speaking of neck roll, does Tomasse have more chins than a Hong Kong phone book, or what?

Seriously, I'm glad he's taking some time off. I've made some mistakes in my lifetime - some pretty embarrassing and significant... some in the public eye.

Tomasse let his zeal to get the story first get the best of him and it hurt a lot of people and the team and his paper etc... his editor hasn't exactly taken any bullets for him either, and ultimately its the editor's responsibility.

So I'm all for Tomasse taking some time to get some perspective on all of this. It's not the end of the world. I'd love to say there was no damage done but there was - but he and we all need to move on and put this behind us.

Same here. If he'd been a little more apologetic, I'd be willing to grant him absolution. As it stands right now...he's got to grovel a little bit more IMO.

Still--I watched him on CSN's Sports Tonight a few weeks ago, and watching his eyes light up when he talked about Papi hitting an HR on his birthday...he was like a little kid. Hard to hate that.
Hopefully this will teach him some stuff and make him a better person.

I wouldn't forgive him if the story was true. He intentionally tried to torpedo his persecuted, worn out, home town team when they needed distractions least.

f**k him and the horse he rode in on.

Sounds like one of those "You need a few days, son. Take off the rest of the week {.... and get your sh!t together}" vacations.

.... he and we all need to move on and put this behind us.

Be glad to put Tomasse behind us
... but then he can't still be writing at us.

If he is,
he isn't behind us.

Out! Out, damned spot!

Really DO NOT care..he is in the past..BIG time see ya....same with Mazz, Ryan...no caring about them..To the latter 2 when if they write about the Pats..I MAY have a passing interest to see what/if they approach the team..but REALLY they are far insignificant..Tomase?? I do not care..whether it's a week..a month..I will not read his garbage at all..OR read that rag..PERIOD!!

Congrats To GGHOODIE!! PFT actually has taken that line asking teh question in his quick one liners...THAT is FUNNY!! A rwinkie binge... LOL Congrats!!

I think the fat slob is looking into other opportunities and we wish good luck. Just go.

I don't get you guys. I for one only wish Tomase well and hope he has a great career someplace else. Good luck John, I hope you find happiness in, say, Minnesota.

He has yet to grovel at all for anything he's ever done. In his limited experience, it's actually been a career booster. That's why he won't change.

Didn't see this posted here and it kind of sums it up. A takeoff on the insincerity of his mea culpa from Barstool Sports. I have a feeling it's closer to the truth than any apology Tomase will actually ever write:

Now that is funny!!! If only the writer hd listened a bit to the WROR podcasts it could have been even closer to the REAL truth...GREAT STUFF!! But I think that sums it all up...BUT as opportunistic and as POOR as Tomase is, the people that are REALLY getting away with something is the Herald itself. Tomase is teh fall guy..people KNOW him..hate him..trash him.. BUT HOW did a story of blanks..nothing get printed?? It is NOT like Tomasse has a printing press and is selling his stories?? There SHOULD be an outcry against the Herald and HOW they let a FALSE story get punlished?? How many editors APPROVED it?? How quickly did they do this to make a splash?? What does this say about the people that put out that rag?
Mazz even tried to say that somehow no one lied to Tomase..that even though there WAS a lie in print..nothing was done wrong...?? huh?? I think there are OTHERS MORE IMPORTANT that dupe like Tomase in all of this..the Editors of the Herald have some explaining to do STILL!!!!

FYI, The comments section on the Tomase's last article is open and his loyal audience is givng him some advice. I am sure he would appreciate it if you contri:rocker:bute.

Karen is getting crap about TomASSe too. She wrote an positive article about Wes, first comment is, "presumably this is a true story"

Good point. I should've said "grovel" and not "grovel more".

I think he is looking into opening up a donut shop in Idaho. That way he will have credibility in what he does.

He tries to 'stay low' for a few days until pats fans are cool off. His boss probably told him to take 1 week vacation so that thing can be cool. They figured out that it would bring a lot of heats if he continues writing his article every day.

If we don't see Tomase write any article for 1 month, it means that justice is served if you know what I mean.
