Joey Porter: "The antipathy for the Pats in lockerooms runs deep in the NFL"

Joey Porter????

What? Dennis Rodman or Jose Canseco wasn't available?

ESPN was going to go with Tim Allen first but had to go with Porter because Allen was in an alcohol induced coma.

He ripped on Belichick pretty good.

I think the game plan when they play Miami will put Mr. Porter in some interesting situations a la the loud-mouth safety from Pittsburgh this past season. (name escapes me)

Anthony Smith.

What doesn't this arse complain about?!?!?!

Of course I'm not surprised that Trey Wingo baited the answer. Trey seems to set the stage in every NFL Live for a trash talking session about the Pats. Nothing changes.

And Mr. Porter.... crying isn't going to get you a ring, LOSER!

Sticks and stones and all that jazz you Steeler reject, Dolphin retread.

Wasn't he a Steeler?

Once, I would LOVE to see someone in the media ask Mr. Porter:

"If there is such antipathy towards the Patriots in all the lockerrooms, why do so MANY FA's flock to them each year for less money than they could get elsewhere?"

Then enjoy watching this "Einstein's" face pucker in thought.

Marion Jones had to give back his medals?

Marion Jones is a woman.

-If it wasn’t' that bad, why was evidence destroyed? It must have been real bad.

This is my favorite one. He is saying that the Pats had tapes showing more than what has already been admitted to, Goodell asked them only for the tapes showing sideline signals...and yet the Pats offered up of their own free will (after a week of opportunity to destroy the evidence) even more damaging tapes than what Goodell asked for.

Brilliant.

I think my favorite part of the interview was when he asked why the tapes were destroyed and it almost sounded as if he thought the Pats were the ones who destroyed them. He also said that we should be able to see what is on the tapes. Ummm...we did.

The usual circular arguments. It was bad because the penalty was bad. Blah, blah, blah.

What he said is probably true, though.

19-0 in 2008, fellas.

19-0 in 2008.

Show those f*ckers up.

It's a shame in itself that this thread has 300+ more views than the Wes Welker thread and almost 30 more replies. I'm guilty too but I will still ask: why can we not ignore these people?

Coming from the universally loved Joey Porter that means a lot.

Now thats not what thugs say is it Joey, "Antipathy". All that rep you built up in the hood getting shot in the arse has just dissapeared G.

I'm so mad at Joey Porter I'm going to have a bunch of my cronies to jump him from behind.

Hey Joey, under BB, how many times did the Pats sweep the Fins with taping? Once out of 7 years. How many times have they swept the Fins WITHOUT taping? 1/1 year. You're right, that IS a big disadvantage........ for the Pats...taping the Fins...lol I also like how he whines about only "important games" like the AFCC in 2002. You mean the one that the Pats scored on an INT return and a kick return? Yeah you're right Joey, the defensive signals helped mightily, it's clear.
Also, do these guys forget that the same stuff was shown on the tape that Glazer played for us all way back in September? You know, the reporter who works for the same network Goodell's wife does and Goodell himself admits was the ONLY tape he actually watched himself out of the first batch?
I also enjoy the fact that they never present a panelist with an opposing view such as Howie Long, etc.
Kudos to Dungy though for reiterating his stance on the whole thing on Mike & Mike this morning...we get it, you still think it's all tarnished. Guess he doesn't know how to say "no comment" or "I made my stance clear in the past and it's over now"

He is an expensive punk who can't play anymore. I doubt he lasts long under Parcells. The Steelers couldn't get rid of him fast enought

It's call it venting, people have to voice their opinions on the moron. The bigger question, is the press so hard up for copy that they headline comments from a moron ? Anything against the Patriots gets headline news because the haters far outweight everyone else.
