That was awesome!!! :rocker:

I'm glad it could happen for him after what he's been through.

Matsuzaka, Bucholz, Lester, Beckett = a great pitching staff for the next 5 years.

Dang that was freaking AMAZING, from cancer to no-no

Just to add to the sweetness of it, I just picked him up on my fantasy team last night lol.

4 of the last 6 AL no hitters were Sox pitchers:rocker:

Excellent game!! Ellsbury's catch was just awesome to add to the night!! Congrats to Lester!!

Yeah boy! What a gem! Thanks for the night Lester! :rocker:

Wow that was great, I get so nervous watching a no-no, I didn't move for the last 3 innings.

Also saw Tek becomes the first pitcher to catch 4 no hitters.

Colon is looking good in his rehab and Schilling should be ready pretty soon. What a sickly deep staff, man. The Red Sox could get their second straight WC with this pitching. Sweet.

Don't forget Wakefield will always have some good games, and Masterson will be up for a few this year.

It was quite moving at the end of the game. He's 24. He is gonna be a special one. Amazing.

its great to be a Boston sports fan :rocker: there is always something special going on.

The kid was awesome. If he can attack hitters and get ahead early in the count he will not get into frequent trouble like he has in the past with all those walks.

I'm sure you meant catcher.....;)

Lester-mania will soon be sweeping across America.

Lifetime/Hallmark movie within two years, bank on it....
Look at the talent that has come uo from the farm system in the last few years Paps,Lester, Buchholz (?sp), Pedroia, Ellsbury with Masterson, Lowrie and others in the pipe.. (Hanley Ramirez pre-trade)
In the past, they would have traded away talent as a quick fix to win the elusive World Series. Remember Jeff Bagwell?? The win in 2004 gave the front office the comfort to not feel obligated to pull the trigger on quick fixes...
