why does everyone get so hung up on what every media member says, the story is over!!! the more you post the more the story lingers, suggestion to all screw the media, and lets talk football, this place has become some media watch dog forum, enough is enough

Again its over for us, and others. But for guys like Espn , king and others it wont be for them , they wont be happy till Belichick is hung in Bristol, with his hoodie over his head...

I will admit, you're right. But it's also understandable why Patriot fans react the way we do. We've developed an "us against the world" attitude.

Funny how it worked out...we're just like the Patriots!;)

we all know that, rehashing every word a patriot hater says isnt going to change anything, we all know they are idiots so why keep giving idiots credibility??? lets talk passing camp, or even better lets make a spygate forums so all you media watchdogs can go ther and knock yourselves out with he said she said nonsense

It's important to address the media and its shortcomings and to correct the "news of record" when necessary so folks will have an accurate view of this team. I, for one, am VERY thankful for the insights offered by posters on this board in efforts to set the record straight. I find comfort knowing that Patsfans.com posters care enough to provide balanced viewpoints, and offer everyone an alternative to agenda-driven media bias.

Totally agree! Make a Spygate forum and move it all there. Let's keep this forum to talk about football - - - the game - - - I don't care about a bunch of over-opinionated media ***holes who have incredibly overdeveloped senses of importance and worth. They are useless parasites.

Wrong. I can verify that the quick and virulent reactions from posters on this very board has gotten the "Comcast Connection" part of the story onto the desks of many many national journalists.

If you sit back and take it, they will mold the story as they wish.

In the meantime, unless you're Ted Kazsynski circa 1995, living in a hut in Montana, you've had people over the past year give you crap about this story - - whether it be at work, at a party, at a kid's ballgame, family from out of town, etc. Some of us don't want to just sit there and take it.

at least spell my name right...it's Kaczynski ...Joker B. Kaczynski ...thank you

if youve gotten it to all these media outlets, it seems like a waste of time because its not working

I strongly agree and am proud to have been one of the first to "out" Specter's Comcast $$$ ("Sen. Specter's $$$ from Comcast!!!", a Thread I started on SB Sunday morning) and send the information to several members of the media, who used it. I have posted the same information on several "general interest" boards as well. It's amazing the impact that a few of us can have if we are willing to do a little leg work.

However, I continue to hold that the overall impact "at a party, at a kid's ballgame, family from out of town..." would be a lot less if the Krafts hadn't allowed outright media lies to go unchallenged for months on end and left it to people like us to publically set the record straight. The number one rule of crisis management is to never allow a false charge to go unanswered for a single news cycle, let alone for weeks or months at a time.

I am a contrarian on this Board, I know (and I hope I've earned my right to be such without having my "loyalty" questioned), but I believe that something like the disgraceful commentary of Schlereth and Carter after Goodell's Press Conference would have been quite different if the Patriots had been aggressively addressing each false allegation from day one. Instead, idiots like those two guys to this day feel that they can say whatever they want, in part at least because they know that no one is going to challenge them.

I agree with the thread title and it is ashame that an industry that was founded with its own set of ethics is now so out of control that they can't even report sports without being biased (and I don't mean homer bias).

"agenda driven media bias." ha. take a look around at people who blame "the media" for their problems. not company i want to be in. people have a legit right to be upset and I have a legit right to watch the Patriots and not give a sh*t. stop blaming the media and just deal with it. you sound like crybabys.

Eh, what can ya do to me NOW from jail?????? ;)
