Does anyone know if their a stripped down, lo-fi version of the messageboard available? Something more conducive to viewing on mobile devices?

TIA

Not nearly bad as some on here. ;)

But I spend a lot of my lunch hour surfing the web on my iphone, and it would be nice if there was a mobile version of the page. I mean, it *is* 2008 after all. :)

No -- or not yet. :)

Dude, this messageboard rocks on my iPhone, I dont know what your problem can be, but I spent the whole draft posting from my iPhone. Like I just did now.

Wow, that's cool. It can't really be done from a BlackBerry.

Go into your user control panel, and turn off all images - inline and signatures. Makes it much more lightweight.

Yeah, the site renders fine on my iphone -- and I've always had sigs & images settings off -- but it would still be nice to have a version formatted more reader-friendly for iphone & other mobile viewing. Just makes things much easier to navigate/read.

You live in Arizona???

LOL! Very nice.

I live in Jersey...maybe some Giants trolls from back in February were banned, and it just grabbed the whole subnet?

Ditto on my Palm Treo. I'd love for these message board developers to make them more mobile friendly also. I'm sure it's coming down the pipe in the not so distant future.

Yea, I agree. The iPhone in general is amazing, best piece of tech I ever purchased. That being said, the Edge network is a little slow and seeing how the iPhone loads the page as it would load on a computer, it does take a little time to get the whole page.

The iPhone is amazing, I can't live without it. My home internet was out for a month, and I was able to do everything on my iPhone:Surf the net, Email, text and IM my friends, etc. Then while watching the draft, I used it to check the Patsfans messageboard, just awesome. I have a Patsfan icon on my main screen, and I click on it, goes right to the site ! Awesome. I had a Palm Treo, which was great, but the internet sucks on it. I agree EDGE is kinda slow....but still doable, and the best internet I've ever seen on a phone......... I'll stop being an Apple fanboy now, sorry, lol.

I haven't heard of this being available with this software yet. That being said there is an RSS feed of this forum:

http://www.patsfans.com/new-england-patriots/messageboard/external.php?type=rss2&forumids=10

So if you have a reader on your mobile device that may make it a little easier

Ian

Thanks, Ian. I've got the RSS feed, so that will have to do for now. :) BTW, to other iPhone users, not sure if you are using Google Reader for your RSS, but their iPhone version is fantastic. I highly recommend using it.
