Program Alert: Sen. Speculum on WEEI @ 9:00 AM

It is with a great deal of difficulty that I am pimping D & C, but they have our beloved senator from Penn on @ 9:00 AM.. might want to listen, not sure if we are going have the same old softball approach or if they will ask real questions.

Not to mention Gerry's "my way (read: conservative) or the highway" approach to politics and life in general.

If they are half as hard on him as they were on Julio Lugo when he had his introductory interview on WEEI, I will be impressed.

Just finished it. You didn't miss a thing if you heard his statement on Wednesday. It was an intstant replay. Few, if any, tough questions from either co-host.

Nope. No Comcast questions, no Eagle tampering questions, no Levy/Walsh conncection questions. Sen. Spectacle did allow how he beleives some things Walsh says and not some others...amazing.

The guy sounded senile. He was an embarrassment to his profession.

They asked him what more he thinks the nfl should do, and he stammered and searched
for something to say, and just said they should interview more people. He's making such a complete fool of himself !!

Wow! Specter really does have a warped view of the world. He constantly said he was testing the waters on the public sentiment of independent investigation and he feels there is a strong sentiment for it and many writers are writing about it in print and on the web. How about all the writers who are asking Specter to go away?

Hmm i thought John did a good job in that interview, ofcourse the wuss Jerry sat on his hands, atleast John made the attempt at making this old fart sound like a crying over spilt milk moron.

This interview is the perfect example of why term limits are needed, this guy should be sitting in a nursing home waiting to die not calling the shots in our government!

I agree that Dennis was better than Callahan, but everything is relative. I really thought there were a lot of other areas which could have been covered. The Senator was anxious to terminate the interview which was not much more than a Cliff Notes version of his rambling discourse from Wednesday.
