unfortunately it means more people registered on the site to post which is exactly what espn cares about

And the reporter just wrote an outright lie:

"There might not have been tape and a camera, but Walsh said in his mind, he was recording what he saw."

The reporter just made that crap up, like the guy on the Wire.

Did Walsh ever tell anyone that, "in his mind, he was recording what he saw?"

Please.

I copied the longer quote, but I think they need to crack Walsh's skull open and see how much of the walk through is in his memory banks.

Yeah, my bad. I know I shouldn't do it but I guess it's like slowing down to look at a gruesome accident after you've been slowed down and stuck in traffic for nine months.

Here is what I had to say:

Yasinkas, like so many other mediots, just doesn't get it. There was NO CHEATING. PERIOD. End of story. The tapes were never used during games. You clearly missed the part where Walsh is quoted by Goodell that the Tapes went to Ernie Adams AFTER the game.
So, its NOT cheating. Its a simple rules violation. In fact, since Goodell said that there would be no other fines to the team for the alleged IR violation, it actually sends the message that Goodell might have over-reacted to the seriousness of this violation. In fact, I dare ANYONE to attempt to explain how what the Patriots did was WORSE than the salary cap violations by the 49ers and Broncos or the steroid use by the Broncos and the Steelers of the 70's.

Its the Patriots, its not a team that these idiots used to play for , so that is why they want them to fail... Its not Dallas, Pitt, Miami, Oak, Den, Wash, NYG, but the Patriots, who until 2000 was a solid team at best in the eyes of the drive by's

Great post.

This is nothing more than a witch hunt now. A panic stricken witch hunt caused by the fact that the Patriots are so dominating that the rest of the NFL will do anything to bring them down. All the haters had been praying at the altar of Walsh hoping that he had the silver bullet to do the job.....but he didn't have SQUAT. Now they are all grasping at straws as they realize next season will be a continual string of beatdowns just like last year. Ha! Screw 'em all!

There was no walk-through, its all propaganda. Fuel for the media per se
