I love this site, its a great place to come read about, talk about anything patriots. Who ever created this site, great job, great job.

I agree. being starved in Australia of NFL nay Pats talk kills me. Having a forum like this is a wonderful outlet!

I've been coming here since '01. It's a great forum for info and analysis. I second the OP's opinion.

Ian Logue created Patsfans back in the age of the Win 95 operating system...in computer terms, about a thousand years ago. Back then Zip had his own site and there was a site called the Unofficial Patriots .com that drew the most traffic, along with a ton of other sites. Always, the WORST board EVER for Pats fans was our OFFICIAL site ,Patriots.com. They had some weird webmasters from Calcutta India running the software, the message board was a nightmare of cascading threads...it was terrible. BUT, it was the Patriots and Kraft's OFFICIAL board and eventually they litigated the Unofficial Pats.com out of existence.

Meanwhile, Ian persisted and continually upgraded this site month after month year after year until TODAY it is unquestionably THE pre-eminent Patriots fan board on the net. I can't even remember what year I last visited the official site. Now even the media and Patriots officials themselves recognize this site as the HOME of Patriot nation(if there is such a thing). To that end and for everything else, we all owe Ian Logue our admiration and respect for a job well done, indeed.

Thanks for the history lesson. A true success story

It really is a great site. I like the 'personalities' on the board and the respect the tremendous insight they offer into the day-to-day happenings in Patriots Nation.

I can't even remember what year I last visited the official site.

Me either Joker. I was posting there back around 1996-00. My name was the same. They flipped the board and got alot more conservative and for some reason I couldn't re-subscribe under my old name.

That's when I found this site. Back when the General Discussion board was a political free-for-all to the 'enth degree. This board was flipped in Sept. 04.

Great forum for Patriots talk and we can talk about other Boston sports so its better to be in this one forum that has everything you need instead of being in 4 differetn forums to talk about all of the Boston teams

I appreciate the kinds words, but you guys deserve the thanks. This place has been a labor of love and it's just been great being able to get to know everyone and enjoy the ride this team has been on for the decade I've been doing this. Trust me, if it wasn't for all of you there wouldn't be a point to running this site. I've been doing this a long time and remember the days when I had a site that 8 people a day happened to click on...it wasn't much fun. Needless to say I can't say enough how lucky I am to have all of you here. It wouldn't be worth it otherwise :)

I agree whole-heartedly! I truly believe spygate has made this site and the bond between our members stronger than ever. Thanks to Ian, our mods and many hard working members, this site has become a haven for me. I'm sure others agree that Patsfans.com is filled with knowledgable & loyal fans.

I really do love coming here. I've never learned so much about the game and what it means to be a true fan.

Yooz guys are alright in my book!

I love it, too. In good times and in bad.

But especially in good times.

Ian, it would be very easy for you to stand pat (haha) and not constantly improve this site. But that's not you, and that's why we all contiually come back. I love the Pats talk, the friends I've made, and even some of the silly drama around here. Being 9000 miles away from home, this site keeps me connected to New England more so than anything else.

You really have done a great job and should be very proud.

And we're damn proud to call you "one of us" patjew!!

Your dry humor is the balls!

I love this site too. Go Pats, destroy all in 2008!!!

Great place, great place.

This is the only opposing team fan site that I troll and have posted on. I must say, very professional and well run website/message board and some good people as well - even though y'all are Pats fans. :D

I post my messages here every day.! Love the atmosphere and friendly environment.

It tastes great and it's less filling.

I joined late 2006 and love involving myself in all kinds of topics and even disputes or disagreements as long as they don't get into name calling or out of hand stuff - Healthy pro and con arguments are all intergral parts of a good sports fans websites as long as it does not involve calling someone a jerk,as-hole or moron.

I hope that for most topics that I post a thread that there is some type of interest even though I do fail at times to post something good and get the 'infamous 1 star rating',It really means something to me to start a good conversation on here because this site is that important in a part of my day.

I will almost bet that there is a frequent, silent 'guest' from the Patriots organization that tunes into this site at least several times a week - I would almost say its a definite.

And I must add the Mods do an excellent job in obtaining a quality site and are the perfect guys for the job - Thanks Ian and the Mods for your fine work - KEEP IT UP!.
