Could Matt Walsh end up helping Pats?

I know that a lot of fans have been quick to trash Matt Walsh's credibility, however, what if his meeting with Goodell next week results in statements that actually help the Pats?

what the hell do you expect Walsh is going to help pats.? I hope that he doesnt forget to take his medication and go nuts about it when he faces Goodell and Specter.

He is in Hall of Shame.

Reiss blog says Walsh is also expected at Jolly Roger's press conference after the meeting. God help us all.

I think you're misreading my post. I'm not saying that Matt Walsh is heading into his meeting with Goodell thinking "Hey, I'm gonna do something nice for the Patriots and try to help them out".

The point I'm making is that if he describes what his duties were to the Commisioner and states that he filmed the entire games and didn't give the tapes to anyone until after the games were over, that would essentially negate a lot of the claims that have been made against the Patriots.

So, although he may not "willingly" be helping out the Patriots, if his version of the taping process backs up what Belichick has said, then that's a step in the right direction since it's apparent that the media doesn't believe BB when he has said the tapes weren't used during games.

I think that's a little, uh, over the top.

Why is Walsh spending time in Walpole over the top? He's an admitted thief and a liar. He stole tens of thousands (possibly hundreds of thousands) of dollars of memorabilia and Patriots property.

1- Media doesn't like BB and they have been waiting for this opportunity to get even with him for years. You will see it by looking at the coverage of this spygate. Way to go,ESPN.! I can't believe that this spygate gets everybody attention more than Clement's report.

Furthermore, it doesn't matter what Walsh says, BB will always be the man to blame for it and you are not going to change what Goodell did.

2- The best thing for WALSH to do next week is SHUT THE F**CK UP. If he doesn't, Specter will have another excuse to make the matter worse and Goodell is going to screw up.

3- There is no reason to see this thing going on and on for years any more because i'm tired of it.

See, it's OK to dream.

My gut tells me that he'd like to get some money out of it for his troubles and if helping the Pats is a means to the end, so be it.......
If he justs wants his 15 minutes of fame instead, what better way to stay in the limelight than to help out and continue to be part of the story.....
