If nothing else ... Leon Powe is the true 6th man on the Celtics. A true 6th man isn't really the 1st sub off the bench .. it's the player that ignites the 2nd unit...usually with a hard work and a different style of play.

Tonight I hope Doc notices Leon is our present and future 6th man.

Except I don't know who he'd replace, it'd be great if he was the fifth man...I really really like Leon. I like Davis a lot too, but Leon's just a grinder. He's like the Logan Mankins of the Celtics.
 
I agree, and I love Powe, but Cassell also has a pretty legitimate claim to that title. We've arguably played better this playoffs when Cassell has been out there v. on the bench.

He has outplayed Rondo ... as he should being the veteran. Hopefully Rondo is playing the sponge while he rests.
