Spectre continues to dribble his applesauce

Senator Arlen Specter (R-Pa.) issued the following statement regarding the eight videotapes that Matt Walsh has turned over to the NFL:

“I think it is very unfortunate that the NFL has already started its ‘nothing new’ spin before watching the tapes or finding out what Mr. Matt Walsh has to say. Let’s see where the evidence leads.”

Geez, he's not holding anything back. Even with his current health condition.

its quite clear by now that its a battle of comcast and nfln and pats are just getting fried in the middle

He should go tell that to Matt Walsh's attorney. Afterall wasn't this entire thing about a walk through of the Rams? I thought that it was. Did I miss something? :bricks:

By the way, can we sue this guy for wasting tax payer's money?

Specter is a pathetic waste of both space and taxpayer money.

That is hillarious. Obviously he can't just say nothing and has to try to save some face. That is why he is grasping at the "its spin!" straws. The evidence leads to Specter being duped along with the rest of the country and winding up with egg on their faces.

Shouldn't he worry about the Philly cops beating the snot out of people during a traffic stop?

Or perhaps PA resident Marvin Harrison's role in an attempted murder?

Then there is the drug den that was run out of Andy Reid's house...

Spectre is a classic case of why there should be term limits.. he is a dinosaur who wants some face time for his beloved Iggles...

Please Arlen, more rope.:D (Play on gives you the rope to hang him with.)

I have to agree with Specter here. I hear that in the middle of the AFC Championship, the Steelers call a time out and proceed to have a walkthrough practice and the Patriots filmed it all.

I knew this would rally Specter. What Specter is ignoring is that Walsh provided a certified letter detailing what was on each tape. It isn't like some smoking gun 3 seconds of footage is going to magically appear.

The jerk should listen to his own advice and STFU without having any evidence. I, for one, won't miss him when he's gone.

Why haven't MA Senators stepped up and confronted this fraud?

Kerry is married to Theresa Heinz, of PA, whose name is attached to Heinz Field, the Steelers home stadium.

Who knows with Ted.

What about Patrick Leahy?

The silence from these politicians is unfortunate.

Kraft must be a Republican or something. Or maybe Comcast has hired alot of politicians' relatives in thse parts.

It's harsh but it's true.

Dear Mr Specter

what the hell do you expect NFL to say when Walsh didn't include Ram video walk through as 'he and other people' SPINNED for months.?

I hope that you seriously eat every 'spygate' page of your book for breakfast, lunch, and dinner after this thing is over.

Or maybe they just know better than to get involved in something that has nothing to do with politics and that their time is better spent dealing with real problems.

I just issued a statement, as well:

"F*** him."

I'm sure folks here will keep re-electing these losers regardless of their silence.

One last ditch effort to rally the people of America to unite against the NFL and Direct TV is all. This guy is a fraud and I can't believe the whole country can't see this wacko for who he is,a lobbyist that makes me want to vomit.

He needs to go away, and now...

Pretty much, it's called pandering and unfortunately Specter is at the front of it. I'm proud of MA's senators not getting down and dirty into this muck. There are much bigger issues to deal with in this country and world.
