Can someone copy and paste the article here?

I can't find it online except in the herald archives and I don't have a subscription... I want to go back and read the original hatchet job again now that the Walsh crap finally broke.

Thanks but that's just the first paragraph... the rest is archived... can someone C+P it ?

The great thing about those links is that they contain Tomass' EMAIL ADDRESS, without anyone having to post it contrary to Board rules. Aw, why don't we just all send him an e-mail and tell him how much we love him...

I'm sure those emails have been pouring in since the article ran. I wonder what it was like for him walking into Foxboro for the first time after the Super Bowl... just to know everyone there absolutely despises you.

lol it's like he forgets HE was the instigator in ALL of this.

People forget that Tomase has said that the only reason that the Herald ran with the story was because the New York Times told them they were running it too. The Herald thought they'd scoop the Boston area media with the story.

Technically the Times broke the story first. The Herald just broke it in Boston.

That's all well and good, but: what story? There WAS no story, unless there is another 'source' still out there with this video evidence. I've said it in a few threads here, but the Patriots should absolutely pursue this: get some lawyers involved, and force the Herald, Tomase, his editor, whoever, to divulge the source of this Rams walkthrough nonsense. Because as it stands right now, as of three months after the initial story broke, the only 'source' has proven to have stolen tapes that the Patriots had already admitted to creating (and, thus, were already penalized for).

I repeat: as of right now, the Herald story from February 2nd is absolute garbage, it's defamatory, it's slanderous, it's irresponsible and malicious journalism, and some heads should roll.

The cold shoulder approach works for me (as I posted elsewhere--no access for the Herald, period, until and unless the Herald publicly takes what the Patriots deem appropriate steps to repair the damage done).

The other possibility, of course, is for the Patriots to displace their anger against the Herald onto other targets--namely, their 2008 opponents. I would love to see opposing fans wishing that their teams could be playing the 2007 Pats instead of the 2008 Pats. :D
